Xx2kBallaSqUaDxX 23 not on Adobe premiere, but on Adobe Photoshop you can do some light editing. With a few layers, I did 11 layers when I edited my UA-cam banner.

I'm about to go to a conference where I will be taking a lot of notes so I wanted to make sure it was up to the challenge. Thanks to your review I will be absolutely prepared. I have a question or two if you don't mind. Have you tried it with Evernote, if so how was it? I tend to use Evernote over OneNote. Also, what racing game were you playing? Thank you for the complement! :), and no, I have only use OneNote on it to take notes on. Evernote should probably work somewhat the same, but I can't say if it acts up after a long time of writing on it. The game I was playing is called Asphalt 8.

The drawing program I like the most is sketchbook. You can get the desktop version that comes with more features or you can get the app one from the Microsoft store. It still has the essentials on it and it's more pen friendlier.

Thank you for the complement :). I have not own the 14 inch hp notebook so I can't really compare the two, but the Asus transformer mini keyboard is good. The trackpad is also good. It is very clicky and gestures work well on it.

Santiago Del Bono It's worth the buy, I wish I bought it sooner. I does tend to get slow at times when having a lot of tabs open on chrome. I found that edge handled it a bit better.

Ahab Hyde It's good for taking math/physics notes in class but after a while like I mentioned in the video the eraser doesn't erase all the time when using the pen. After you written a lot that you have to zoom out and move around the page it's kind of slow at moving around so using multiple pages is better than writing on my one endlessly. Using it on the lap with the built in stand is difficult, it wobbles around a lot and sometimes causes the keyboard to disconnect unless you can keep very still. The case I have on helps it keep it stable when I have it on my lap.
I am thinking of buying this because I prefer Windows to iOS (I have an iPad pro + pencil, which is quite good IMO. I just don't like iOS.) Is anyone using one of those "Paper-like" screen protectors with this tablet? With Surface Pro4, one can use different pen tips to achieve more friction, but my understanding is, Asus doesn't offer them, so that leaves two possibilities: Using a paper-like screen protector, or using the Surface pen with extra pen tips afaik...
Hey great review. Have you had any problems with this device turning off and not being able to turn back on? I've read alot of reviews saying that this is a good device but it is glitchy/stops working really quickly and people have to send it in for repairs. Has anything like this happened to you?
Marinthees when I tried to use a powerbank to charge the tablet, It wouldn't power on. As soon as I took it off the power bank and plug it into a wall i was able to get it to turn on. That was the only time. On turning off on its own, that has not happened to me. Hopefully mine doesn't have any of those issues. If it does I will post it here to let you all know.

DeadPixelz The surface pen is as good as the Asus pen in terms of how well it performance. They both have the same level of pressure sensitivity. The Microsoft pen is better in features, the Microsoft pen has interchangeable soft tips. You can connect via Bluetooth to use the end button to launch OneNote and such. You can turn the pen over to erase without needing to click anything. But they both work as good on the tablet.
Vall Ey with that I meant that because I am not used to drawing on tablets and that was my first time trying to draw a face it was difficult for me. It was not the same as trying to paint. In order to get good shading and and a nice gradient blend you have to do layers by layers. It's not like when I draw where I only need to use the pressure of the pencil or when I paint to get a good blend. The tablet handled it well. There is that 1 second delay when you switch between your hand and pen though.

Hi, you mentioned you used microsoft pen. I do have a transformer T101 but apparently it doesnt have an asus pen included. do you think microsoft pen will work if i buy it? or to be sure buy an asus pen? t101 is also touch screen.
Try updating digitizer drivers check your pen battery or the pressure menu and finally your dedicated program on your ram setting it takes a lot to fix this issue be careful with updates you need to get everything update the video graphic etc find a person that own one and know about this stuff I don't recommend you playing with it it's a big process to tune them to perfection good luck check the battery first
I'm planning to byt this ASUS mini so I did a lot o f research on it. Generally it's suppose to be a cool device for light stuff, but I read that more advanced things like photo editing or coding (it was mentioned in one of the rewieves) is just too much to handle for this laptop. It's insides are not the top shelf, it's generaly slow, so I imagine coding will be either extremely frustrating or simply impossible.
i'm interested into this tablet to use it in the college for MS Office and media, on the media side can this tablet handle 720p or 1080p at 60fps smoothly without stutter on the browser (Chrome or Edge)??
I been using chrome and edge and it is able to run 1080p videos smoothly on chrome. On edge scrolling is a bit funky on UA-cam sometimes, but the videos play well on both. It makes a good laptop for school.
@@ghtechreview yes...i resolve the problem, what happened is everytime i touch the screen with the pen, the pen becomes a eraser😅 i just double click the lower button of the pen to removed the eraser....thanks for the reply👌
Yes but you will lag on Photoshop depending on the brush and size and how big is the file you need to dedicate the the team saying to Photoshop and turn everything else down and only use Photoshop when using this tablet only split screen and multitask with other light art app don't drag pictures to ps open them from your folders hopefully this give your a starting idea
have you had any problem since you bought this transformer mini t102ha? cz i'm very confused these days about buying this product or not. *is it slow* when you open few google tabs or watch video on youtube. Sadia Chowdhury just for surfing the web it's great. I've had 10 tabs max open on chrome and handled it well. I found that it was smoother on Microsoft edge. Except on edge, scrolling through UA-cam is kinda laggy. What I like the most is the awesome battery life :o. With just web alone getting about 10 hours.

Robert Baumann Yes, you can use the pen surface pen to open OneNote. you can connect the pen via Bluetooth with the tablet. Towards the end I show it at 12:20.
Its a silly question but can the OneNote files be saved on the tablet? or they are uploaded directly to OneDrive ?? Since on android, the onenote app always saves the files on onedrive and that doesnt suit me since the free cloud upload limit is only 5 Gbs
Houssam Seifeddine It saves it to the cloud. You can actually set the location you want it to store in the settings. Just go to files, then save and backpack and select the folder you wish to backup those files to.
Yeah that's what i mean, that i can choose where to save the onenote notebooks on the device. the android app strictly saves them to the cloud with no option to change it.

ace phyo the 2017 transformer mini t103 was announced on may 30th, but the only difference is that it has a built in e-sim and supports 4g LTE. The form factor and specs are the same. I would get this one since it's on sale for $249.
hello , i am looking for a budget tab that i will be using in my math and physics class. Would you advise me getting this ?. I heard samsung galaxy tab A 2016 was good too.
greg austin I used mine for physics and math too. It has been working good. After a few OneNote updates it has been a bit smoother on taking notes. I'm not sure how the Galaxy tab A (2016) performs on a day to day usage for taking notes. I would recommend the Asus, but the Samsung tab has a better display and better camera that's for, so it really depends on what tradeoffs your willing to make since they both are around the same price.
GH Tech Review thanks for the fast reply, one last question, how this tab compare to surface pro 3 ? i assume asus processor is a bit weaker than I3 and M3 ?
greg austin yes the Atom x5 is weaker than both the m3 and core i3. If you want to be able to do multitasking without much hiccup's here and there than the surface 3 would be ideal. With the Asus you will see some lag a couple times when multitasking. Like after having 10 web apps open and word or Excel.

No thanks. You are comparing it to a second monitor aka Graphic Monitor Tablet. Nope, this tablet has Windows, but this version it's made to work like a phone (Gaming, permorfance, etc) not like a regular tablet.
Go to asus support and update drivers for wifi, audio and especially finger recognition which now works 100% of the time.

raxrzl yes you can use the virtual keyboard and it works well. I usually just use the pen to write with and converts it to text.

Yeah no problem, and thanks for the feedback. I am getting the hang of it now. I am getting better at shading on almost as good as I can on painting.

I been using chrome and edge and it is able to run 1080p videos smoothly on chrome. On edge scrolling is a bit funky on UA-cam sometimes, but the videos play well on both. It makes a good laptop for school.

@@ghtechreview yes...i resolve the problem, what happened is everytime i touch the screen with the pen, the pen becomes a eraser😅 i just double click the lower button of the pen to removed the eraser....thanks for the reply👌

Yes but you will lag on Photoshop depending on the brush and size and how big is the file you need to dedicate the the team saying to Photoshop and turn everything else down and only use Photoshop when using this tablet only split screen and multitask with other light art app don't drag pictures to ps open them from your folders hopefully this give your a starting idea
have you had any problem since you bought this transformer mini t102ha? cz i'm very confused these days about buying this product or not. *is it slow* when you open few google tabs or watch video on youtube. (i am not talking about playing games or watching movies but all i need is surfing the net for my study stuffs.... ) thanks :)
Sadia Chowdhury just for surfing the web it's great. I've had 10 tabs max open on chrome and handled it well. I found that it was smoother on Microsoft edge. Except on edge, scrolling through UA-cam is kinda laggy. What I like the most is the awesome battery life :o. With just web alone getting about 10 hours.

Robert Baumann Yes, you can use the pen surface pen to open OneNote. you can connect the pen via Bluetooth with the tablet. Towards the end I show it at 12:20.

Its a silly question but can the OneNote files be saved on the tablet? or they are uploaded directly to OneDrive ??
Since on android, the onenote app always saves the files on onedrive and that doesnt suit me since the free cloud upload limit is only 5 Gbs
Houssam Seifeddine It saves it to the cloud. You can actually set the location you want it to store in the settings. Just go to files, then save and backpack and select the folder you wish to backup those files to.
Yeah that's what i mean, that i can choose where to save the onenote notebooks on the device. the android app strictly saves them to the cloud with no option to change it.
Yeah you can save it to the tablet. You just have to go to save and backup to Change the location.
How does Microsoft office apps run on the laptop?
They run fine, it does get a bit laggy on PowerPoint when you got a lot of slides, like 20 and so on.

ace phyo the 2017 transformer mini t103 was announced on may 30th, but the only difference is that it has a built in e-sim and supports 4g LTE. The form factor and specs are the same. I would get this one since it's on sale for $249.

hello , i am looking for a budget tab that i will be using in my math and physics class. Would you advise me getting this ?. I heard samsung galaxy tab A 2016 was good too.
greg austin I used mine for physics and math too. It has been working good. After a few OneNote updates it has been a bit smoother on taking notes. I'm not sure how the Galaxy tab A (2016) performs on a day to day usage for taking notes. I would recommend the Asus, but the Samsung tab has a better display and better camera that's for, so it really depends on what tradeoffs your willing to make since they both are around the same price.

greg austin yes the Atom x5 is weaker than both the m3 and core i3. If you want to be able to do multitasking without much hiccup's here and there than the surface 3 would be ideal. With the Asus you will see some lag a couple times when multitasking. Like after having 10 web apps open and word or Excel.

+KilGrave 09 The surface pro 3 will work. That's when Microsoft moved to N-trig active pens. The pro 2 pen won't work since it uses a Wacom digitizer.

yes you can do some light photo editing. I just recently downloaded adobe Photoshop and it handle fairly well. I used it to edit my UA-cam banner.

No thanks. You are comparing it to a second monitor aka Graphic Monitor Tablet. Nope, this tablet has Windows, but this version it's made to work like a phone (Gaming, permorfance, etc) not like a regular tablet.
