For a 5.7 r/t with a hell cat intake box what size throttle body would perfect for that ?
Quick tip this guy didn't mention, if you install a BBK TB it will come with instructions for installation. If you throw them away and don't read them like this guy did, you will probably have a rough idle as I've seen numerous guys complain about it and think there's something wrong with it. Instructions in the box/online detail the steps to prevent this and calibrate it to your accelerator.
Recalibration doesn't always work either . Been there done that BBK JET both throw codes that can not be recalibrate even though they say it can , will not work
Hearing a whistle in my brand new 22 rt after installation any idea on what it can be? Also is there any way to recalibrate the throttle body after installation?

@@waynes603 no tune with it, just need to reset the throttle position sensor. comes with instructions on how to do that

Would I be able to benefit from this with a 392 manifold, CAI, longtubes, and catless miss? 5.7l, I'm eventually doing forced air but staying NA for now
It MIGHT work with those mods but guessing your going to get the code , car goes to limp mode and only way out is to try the "calibration" steps AGAIN and will work for 5 10 mins then throw the code again . You need the 6.4 manifold and turbos to see the benefits from it ... dont waste your money
What's the power gain at the wheels for a stock 5.7 and 6.4? Don't you think that's the number one thing your viewers would care about?

Power gain is basically jack shit. Maybe 1 or 2 hrsprs. There's a theory that a less. Restrictive exhaust might add to it but my understanding is that a 6.4 isn't that restrictive. Who knows.

Do not replace your throttle bodies Guys until you reach vacuum during Wide Open Throttle.

@@malamri424 No, until You'll encounter increase of vacuum during WOT like I mentioned above, It's just a waste of money.

@@bustingyewls154 What does what mean? :) The vacuum in the intake manifold is normal process in NA aplication, however during WOT pressure is minimal different than atmosferic. From my experience - 3-4kPa is normal, Everything over that difference is a sign for restriction in inlet section. This is a definition when TB might become a subject of concerns. You'll find a lot of bullshit improvements on this channel so be careful what You spending Your money on.

Works great on my2014 5.7 hemi.. after market volant intake from stock TB still fit as well.. no other products were needed. Did throttle relearn procedure 3 times before cranking and perfect.. i do have custom tune, LTH, and a more open exhaust from stock. I do wish i could find a throttle body spacer to taper 90mm to 85.. any thoughts American Muscle ?
Did you retune for the throttle body or did you just do the throttle re learn?

No
YES it will . If you do not have forced induction you will throw a code regardless of what they say . Car will basically go into limp mode even on the 85mm . Don't water your money
Whats the difference between a heavily modified car vs reg mods?? like my charger has a CAI and a full straight pipe.. eventually will get long tube headers here shortly
Forced Induction as the guy said ... Turbos, Cam, manifold, intake , headers , tune .... all of those will be needed for this to remotely give you anything
@@tylerstrop3444 what about Ram Air from the OEM Hellcat Air Box and Snorkel? I would also be using a Hellcat Air Filter (paper)
@@Sm0kingp0wer9 that's a toss up man . I was running a Corsa Cold Air in place and no matter what I did , error message and into Limp mode . That said , possibly might HAVE to be tuned after installation BUT if you read JETs description it's states clearly "No tune required" . Im calling 100% bullshit on that
I own a 6.4L scat pack. I have a straight pipe and hellcat drop in air box with the forced induction coming from the headlight. Would this qualify for being able to make gains with a larger diameter throttle body? Also, would the throttle body be the only thing I would have to purchase, or would I have to buy separate tubing? You mentioned something about the larger diameter throttle body not fitting on the stock tubing.

@@Smithville64 I went with the 90mm and jlt intake. Plus I’m completely straight piped with my cats off. Not gonna lie I noticed a difference. You gain some hp. Soon I’m going e85 and getting my intake manifold ported. Plus I’m not even tuned yet . I’ll be making decent gainz.

I know you said if you have a stock Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack, this throttle body will be too much air but will it hurt your engine or would it be fine?

Yes ... you would get a code thrown on your air sensor .... will not work regardless of intake you have on it

Forced induction "Turbos" otherwise you are wasting your money because it will NOT work

Oh they do and say they will work BUT again you have to have a list of mods for it to work . Simply putting a cold air intake on will not work
