    I would be interested in a movie about her journey and how she became a actress.

      She'll play herself most likely. She grew up and was 1 of my cousins friends in the neighborhood and she was always around her house back then in the late 90's and early to mid 2000's, I remember meeting her 1 day at my cousins house on school st in around eggy and shes a small little petite girl and was mature for her age at the time and she wasnt a ghetto bird like most of the girls around there and she said shes gonna be a actress 1 day when she was going to BAA near fenway park.

    It is shocking to find out that even with all her success, she hasn't reunited with her parents. I can imagine what it's like to be away from your family, because I am, but to not be able to fly to them and see them... I feel for her.

      High Kitty In her book she explains that her parents got divorced, and the mom is living in Spain and the dad in colombia (idk they might’ve gotten it wrong in the video or I might be wrong)
      she says that since she pretty much grew without them for her teenage years and established a whole career and stuff her parents became more like godparents... important but not as close

      In the book she talks about visiting her parents. The video said that she has not been with her parents in the US since they were deported. Now that she is financially stable, it would be nice for her to bring her parents to the US. I don't see why it can't be done now that she is an advocate for immigration.

I don't believe it is ok that just because you live in a foreign country geographically close to the US, allows you to enter illegally and stay. That is so not fair to the rest of the people in the world that also want and deserve a better life and opportunity. Her pain is real, but sorry not sorry they deported her parents.

    I'm sorry for her family and suffering, but I would never expect to stay illegally in any other country without consequences if you got caught.
    But for some reason everyone thinks America is evil for doing exactly what any other country would do, deportation.

    I wonder what happens in a place like, oh I don't know, China, if you were to just show up and start living there, then publicly condemn the government for deporting you. I'd be willing to bet China, along with damn near every other nation on earth, wouldn't even be having this discussion. I mean let's think logically at how conceded this is -- I can come to a country, for reasons that may very well be decent, and demand that I should be able to just stay and live out my life unhindered by that country's laws or its people.

      Although I agree with your perspective about immigrants coming here illegally, but this is what colonizers did to the native americans. How about white americans go back to europe, black americans go back to africa & latino americans go back to central & south america? Let's have the native americans have their land back

    • @ZackEdwards1234
      @ZackEdwards1234 2 роки тому

      @@Pacman_131 Conquest was the way of the world then. Things aren't that way anymore. Not to mention, when the "colonizers" arrived in North America, there was no country to even speak of. The Indians weren't some united ethnic group with a cohesive culture and a sovereign territory. They were lived few and far between, warred amongst one another and were spread out amongst vast areas of uninhabited land. But most importantly, conquest and empire building was the de facto geopolitical structure for centuries, even continuing into the latter half of the 19th century.

    It's very sad but that's the solution? Every country has laws and breaking the law leads to punishment (and apparently some people even abuse this). I want to move to another country as well but would I ever do that illegally? Absolutely not. Would I do that if that meant my family could be punished because of my choices? Again, absolutely not.
