“It's fun to speculate.” I agree, I love space so much but I'm afraid we might know just little of it, and the more you know, the more you realize you don't know
The things that keeps me up at night are thoughts like the fact that the human species as a whole. There’s no telling if afterwards, there will be any form of intelligent life on Earth. Thoughts like the sun completely blowing up, an unexpected asteroid, a rogue planet or black hole entering the solar system, or a gamma ray burst… These thoughts are what is responsible for my chronic insomnia.
Feel ya dude, lol. But i usually try to stay on the optimistic side, i mean, think how much progress we made in just a few thousand years, and we already are in the early stages of mastering meteorite deflection to defend our planet. I'm not so concerned for a natural disaster because if we keep our progress, i think we can survive any such occurance thrown at us. But in order to make that happen, we have to make sure we stop killing our planet with pollution and we dedicate all our resources over there instead of continuously warring ourselves. I think it's far, far more likely that humanity causes its own demise with misplaced priorities and stupid behaviour of politicians , rather than any cosmic disaster.
Whoever's reading this, I pray that whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen

And why is it all left up to scientists when you are also part of the problem what have you done to help fix earth instead of moaning and crying like a cry baby
I think that the extreme complexity of implementing all these options should serve as an excellent reason to prevent our home from becoming uninhabitable. It's funny how people worry about issues that don't even concern them at the moment. In general, I assumed that it would be about the time when the sun begins to expand and swallow the Earth. In that case, we'll run away to Neptune. But apparently you meant that the Earth would become uninhabitable for some other reason, which is cool. In addition, you have proposed new options for the place of residence of mankind, I like the fact that you looked at it from the other side. 😏
Speaking of space: Imagiene a rocky Earth like jungle planet that has 4 times the size of our world and takes about 12 years to orbit it's sun like star and has a 36 hours day night cycle. It also has a Mecury sised moon which takes about 340 days to orbit the planet. Is this realistically possiblle?
Colonized Mars sound realistic than colonized Venus But IT would Be amazing to colonized another planet and Ring world sounds very interesting But scary too...
I feel like terraforming Mars is easier because it can be done with current technology. The only thing stopping us is money and it's gonna take like 1,000 years. We can heat Mars like what we're already doing with Earth. Terraforming Venus requires advanced technology. Also instead of wasting nukes on meaningless world wars, we should use them on science such as terraforming planets.
That would cost too much. At least that's the current prognosis. Oh great, Now we're going to bring money problems to another planet. Lord have mercy on our dumb asses. God won't let us destroy another planet. You can be we'll play hell getting there.
We could use mercury for raw materials along with many other bodies bringing all the arch pieces together simultaneously, OMG! It is also true that microbots would need to self replicate and link up to become the vessel we desire! Actually, with the right shape and distance from Venus, one could effectively put the planet in the shade of the mirror/shade creating structure.
Every since we learned there's something outside of Earth we've tried to leave it, lol. Humans have been unhappy here a very, very long time (because of humans), lol. People for a long time thinking, whatever is out there must be better than this, haha.
10:42 - 10:46 Aww, but I love our beautiful planet Earth, I don't want to leave her. God designed to perfect place for humans to live and that's where we should stay in my opinion.
What IF we have been searching for another life supporting planet using the wrong criteria? What IF asides water and oxygen, there are substitutes that can support life, including human lives that we haven't yet discovered?
There are other Earth 🌎 like Planets in the Universe... Everything with Beginnings has Endings...One should not concern themselves with where they will go..but rather enjoy the experience they have in this moment of time.
Let’s just face the honest truth, to even be alive in the first place we need to constantly take risks of death to various degrees. This travel or transport would be among one of the greatest risks and challenges in any humans life and animals if we bring any with. Sometimes you just have to do and accept the risks and death and keep on keeping on. It’s the only way.
The earth is precious when you're in Space. Imagine if you were in a Spaceship, and you saw through a window in your Spaceship Earth. Very. Very far away where Pluto is. It would look like a tiny blue dot.
"Not leave planet Earth would be like castaways on a desert island not trying to escape...Sending humans to other planets... will shape the future of the human race in ways we don't yet understand, and may determine whether we have any future at all." -- Stephen Hawking
Another aspect to consider is the leadership structure for a hypothetical new world on Venus. Who would lead? Would there be a president as in our current societies? Often, there are too many leaders and not enough followers, which could lead to constant conflict. Where would major nations like China, Iraq, Syria, and the United States stand? Would there be a single global ruler or individual leaders? How long would it take before conflicts arise? Additionally, people might yearn for Earth, feeling homesick. These factors must be considered before embarking on such a venture. Would it only be accessible to a select few, leaving the rest to survive on Earth?
Interesting ideas and I always love your videos buttt you didn't mention Venus biggest issue, non stop volcanic activity giving it a runaway greenhouse effect
Terraforming Venus --- not happening. Perhaps Mars or one of the moons of Jupiter or Saturn (depending on what we find), but not Venus. To create a ring world would require stripping an entire planet of all its resources down to the last atom, perhaps three worlds. Besides, it would take 2,000 to 10,000 years to do that. Can you see humanity banding together long enough for any reason for that long? To build a Dyson sphere, you'd have to do that to an entire solar system, including its Oort cloud and asteroids, and it would take at least 100,000 years.
