You need to do your research! Russ is so elite it’s nuts even funny. He’s one of the top-15 QBs to ever play the game, and there have been 4 seasons in which he could’ve been argued as MVP, none of which were even his best statistical seasons: 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018.

In retrospect Justin now has throw 29TDs and 2ints in training camp. And he looked elite and near perfect in the Steelers most recorded practice on friday night. Guess its safe to say he was showing growing pains with a brand new team. Chemistry doesnt happen overnight.

Justin Fields will get you with that big smile and his respectful demeanor, and the way he can run. The way he tries really hard. But he just can’t find the open receiver. He zones in on one guy, maybe, a second one and then he’s off to the races. The Bears had so many opportunities in with really good protection for fields, and instead of him, stepping into the pocket and throwing through his progressions, he took off running and got a sack.

He can have a career if he agrees to reinvent the slash role. QB/WR. Kordell messed up his career by rejecting the role of slash. He wanted to just be a QB and was horrible. If you are having issues with accuracy in the NFL this late in your career then it's over. That's something that rarely gets corrected. Can he take the top off of coverages if lined up wide? Does he have good hands? After the season starts put him on the scout team at get reps at WR.

I actually disagree about the accuracy. The offense of approach is so conservative that he is probably told to not be so afraid of a completion. So at the last moment, before he throws the ball, there’s a good chance he decides to basically throw it away based on the last thing he sees. I would actually focus on those plays where he puts it into an extremely tight window. Right now, the playbook is very limited. If it comes down tocrunch time, and the Steelers need to get back into the game, I guarantee you there will be some ridiculous throws. I’d rather wait until he has the opportunity to lead the offense to actually make a statement about him or his accuracy.

It’s no secret J. Fields needs to become the best version of himself. People speak of him like he wasn’t dealt a bad hand. Did any of you watch his games?? Did you see the play calling??? Did you notice 97.5% of the time he didn’t get 2.5 seconds to pass the ball (no line), how many games did they credit him for a losing the game when the defense gave up last drive 4th quarter touchdowns? What game was it when Mooney dropped an end of game Pass for a Touchdown (in the end zone) that hit his hands??? Yet he still won 7 games. We had a good running game, why were we running QB run plays?? He ran mainly because he didn’t have a choice. He doesn’t need to start day 1, if Russel is struggling you guys have a jewel of a QB. All he needed was a coach, he can adjust to any system.
