I got to the end of 2023 and realized I had spent around 900 hours playing video games just to try and distract myself from the pain in my brain. Now I'm pregnant again with hopefully our miracle (untested) IVF baby and every day is torture trying to make it past 17 weeks, hoping we don't have chromosomal issues this time... Need to figure out a new video game to dive into. (Mass Effect trilogy was by far my favorite of last year.)

distraction is big. TikTok scrolling keeps me from spiraling at night if I can't sleep. it's a bad habit in and of itself, but better than ruminating on baby worries.

I did fall pregnant on that medication protocol with a boy, yet lost him at 16 weeks due to a cord issue. :-( was so sad. However currently I’m holding my rainbow baby girl in my arms. She’s 14 weeks old 🌈💗
@@prachi6802 hi. I had an issue Called being a ‘dq alpha match’ it’s an immunological issue between my husband and I. I just had my rainbow baby girl. She’s 14 weeks old. She’s my 12th pregnancy! So because of my fertility issue it made my body essentially kill off the embryos at 5 weeks and I lost 8 at 5 weeks over a 4 year period. I also lost 2 boys late in the second trimester due to other reasons not related to our fertility issue. Bad luck I guess. 💗

I love these tips! They make total sense to me! I was kinda doing #2 but my fav is #4. I noticed that this was exactly what I was doing with both miscarriages (only planning for the pregnant path) and this time around I’m going to try to force myself to think of the non-pregnant path. (Ie. If this pregnant path doesn’t work out, I can still go skiing, I have my sister-in-law’s wedding to look forward to, and more)

I needed this today. Two miscarriages in 7 months- first a pregnancy of unknown location later to be deemed a blighted ovum probable twin pregnancy and second vanishing twin pregnancy with remaining twin having a heartbeat that then stopped at 7 weeks. She had a triploidy of maternal origin. I am a midwife and it is beyond difficult to change my daily activities. However, your morning mantra has helped me toss out all of these extra pregnancy tests and trust my body. We’ll see what my body does for this pregnancy. Thank you!

These are absolutely great tips! I had a chemical pregnancy last month and a D and C at 10 weeks due to miscarriage last December. I found out Monday that I'm pregnant. Period is due Friday. It's Wednesday and I still haven't told my husband. Last month we were pregnant for 3 days. The day of my expected period the tests showed negative again. I've been a basket case today. So I'm going to try these tips and see if they help.

At the moment I cannot imagine getting pregnant and enjoying it ever again. These tips of 'distraction' and kind of denial is the only possible way BUT - my worry goes way beyond 12 weeks. The question is ...when do you accept you ARE pregnant and start preparing etc. I only expect bad things too...early miscarriage is the best option compared to other scenarios. Not sure how positive thinking changes the fact that baby can die on week 25, 37 or even after birth....HOW to live with those thoughts?

I needed this today. Two miscarriages in 7 months- first a pregnancy of unknown location later to be deemed a blighted ovum probable twin pregnancy and second vanishing twin pregnancy with remaining twin having a heartbeat that then stopped at 7 weeks. She had a triploidy of maternal origin.
I am a midwife and it is beyond difficult to change my daily activities. However, your morning mantra has helped me toss out all of these extra pregnancy tests and trust my body. We’ll see what my body does for this pregnancy. Thank you!

I had 2 miscarriages back to back and I am 8 weeks pregnant now! Praying for the best🙏my GYNO is so busy they can't get me in until I'm 11 weeks. Very upset about that. Not sure what to do about it, I guess to just take care of the baby and hope for the best 💕

I had miscarriage at 9 weeks. Being pregnant again was very fearful. Every day. Waiting fr week to pass. Days feels go slowly. I thought waiting 12 weeks il stop worrying. But no , i still worry. Internet s all about showing that anything cn happen any month. So still counting days. Im 19 weeks now almost 5 month, still fear doesn't go. But your right distraction is good

I lost our little girl at nearly 20 weeks in August. Currently pregnant with lovenox shots with our rainbow baby at 10 weeks. So refreshing to hear I am not crazy, though it feels like I am sometimes.

Finally pregnant again I'm currently 11wks and waiting on a first scan till I can actually believe its real. Lack of sympathy from hospital/doctors after 2 miscarriages is soul destroying. I'm sick with worry and anxiety wondering if I will get my scan picture like everyone else. Trying to stay positive till I get there but its so so hard. These are absolutely great tips! I had a chemical pregnancy last month and a D and C at 10 weeks due to miscarriage last December. I found out Monday that I'm pregnant. Period is due Friday. It's Wednesday and I still haven't told my husband. Last month we were pregnant for 3 days. The day of my expected period the tests showed negative again. I've been a basket case today. So I'm going to try these tips and see if they help.

At the moment I cannot imagine getting pregnant and enjoying it ever again. These tips of 'distraction' and kind of denial is the only possible way BUT - my worry goes way beyond 12 weeks. The question is ...when do you accept you ARE pregnant and start preparing etc. I only expect bad things too...early miscarriage is the best option compared to other scenarios. Not sure how positive thinking changes the fact that baby can die on week 25, 37 or even after birth....HOW to live with those thoughts?
Did you find a way to? Same question . Also this ‘you body tried your best’ is unsettling …my body is the one who gave me this bad embryos to start with thanks very much

just watched this video. and oh my god, i just had a miscarriage a week ago, at 11weeks... the heart beat was irregular and faint at 7weeks that's when i started with the 2 paths theory in my mind... completely devastated of course... but at least it will definitely keep you away from depression. thank you for this video. you're a genius..

Minecraft is a pretty good distraction if you’re into that. Spent the last two months avoiding everything pregnancy and baby related since my miscarriage. Just found out I’m pregnant again this morning! This video was really helpful.

Hi. I miscarried last November 18 this year 2021. I was waiting for my period but it didn't come. I took pregnancy test yesterday December 27 and it was positive. I was surprised!
