Do the balls hit do the balls hit against the wall? I have a cage up against a wall and I’m struggling to keep the balls off the wall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Michael - How far off the wall is your cage? I would recommend lining problem areas with a product we offer called NetShield. It can dampen ball impact to about 6-8".

How do you know how tight you can go on the turn buckle?

Hey Gus, Great question. You need to get as much tension on the turnbuckle as it takes to get that line as tight as possible. Make sure you start with your turnbuckle 'wide open' so you can go as tight as possible with the turnbuckle. Also make sure you're turning the turnbuckle, and not the turnbuckle and the cable line.

Also Gus, you can only place as much tension on your lines as your anchors / walls can hold. Be aware of the connection points on each end. As you tighten the turnbuckle, pay attention to how your anchors are reacting. If there is any movement in the header / wall plate / bolt etc. it's a good idea to either reinforce that header / anchor, or reduce the tension in the turnbuckle. Hope this helps! Team PSI

Good video. Don't understand why more people don't use cable rollers? any drawback to using them?

Hey Mike, are you referring to the steel roller wheels? We almost always recommend using the steel or nylon roller wheels if you're going to be collapsing the nets frequently. You can get by with just snap hooks, but eventually those snap hooks wear down and begin to act as a brake on the line. The only potential drawback with the steel rollers shown in this video is that if you do have to replace one, you have to take down the whole cable line. (Or try and cut through the roller wheel.) The nylon roller wheels have a split bracket, so you can just remove and replace the roller wheel without taking down the whole line.

Hey Joe, I'm not sure of the exact dimensions of the cage in the video, but we can custom build to any dimensions, depending on the size of your buildings and needs.
Check out our Net Calculator. It's the easiest way to get a quote on a custom net: practicesports.com/custom_tool/net-calculator/
