I must agree that this version is a lot better, and the reason is simple: The Machina version, great in its own right, sounds to me too much like an electronic mash-up, although, the video for the Machina version is AWESOME. But this song for me just sounds more, I don't know, "alive", I suppose. Plus, no need to strain to understand all the lyrics. :)
Billy's a musical SAVANT, not exaggerating its PROVEN! He just is less weird then a SAVANT from some street smarts growing up where and how he was forced too, and in the 90's, does not get better then this GUY..... They or HE will ALWAYS be good whether radio hit or NOT... Times change, billys stuff is still brilliant... This song literilly ids a year before I can even trace back China's war on America with the FENT and look at how bad it is now and watch the real video and song of this.... HE KNEW, He's brilliant...
this stripped down version is much better for me...makes it more live...i think the machina sound was too slick.. and did injustice to the few good tracks on it. Give me old SP any day..!!!.
