My fifth grade teacher had this song played at her wedding. All of her students in my class memorized HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN BY IRVING BERLIN. WE SANG IT TO HER AND SHE CRIED. VIETNAM WAS GOING HOT AND HEAVY, THE YEAR WAS 1965. THAT. WAS AROUND 63 YEARS AGO. I HAVE OFTEN HUMMED THE SONG. IF YOU TRULY LISTEN TO THE LYRICS, THE WORDS ARE DEEP IN INDIVIDUAL PERSPECTIVE OF FEELING. CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LET IT FLOW. MAYBE YOU CAN TELL ME WHY THE SKY IS BLUE.
I am totally and completely in love with this song and the way he does it. I listened to one other person sing it and I was like "no". Nothing is ever going to compare to this version ever. Never need to hear anyone else sing it.
How much do I love you? I'll tell you no lie How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky? How many times a day do I think of you? How many roses are sprinkled with dew? How far would I travel To be where you are? How far is the journey From here to a star? And if I ever lost you How much would I cry? How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky?
Wow just can't get enough of the song. I too had the video lend it out and never got it back! @bryceguy72: went to your website did'nt see the download :(
kinda a little southern cutie pie when he was young wasnt he hi there harry i love you baby kiss you long and soft on a warm sultry new orleans night under the silvery moon
masterful. lovely voice, I would say artistically on the level of Sinatra's version although very different interpretation! (AND does not have the annoying trombone solo - hey it wasn't SInatra's fault!!)
la mejor versión! este concierto entero es extraordinario. Esta versión la escuche muy chica y se me quedo grabada para siempre.
