- The original Zhiyun Weebill S was a legend. The first gimbal that was both affordable and powerful enough to mount a decent sized DSLR or mirrorless camera with a reasonable sized lens on it. The came the Weebill S 2, which added a massive pile of bells and whistles, as well as some extra money. The third Weebill brought it back to its roots, and now we have a New S, the Weebill 3S, and it feels like we've finally come full circle. A gimbal that's powerful, feature rich, and at a great price. But how does it Actually perform? I've been running it through its paces for a couple weeks now, so let's find out!

That's a great point about the screws. It's like something new coming out with USB and not USB-C. Yo, we've all moved on. Get with the program. Still, it's a thing that can be fixed. So, there's that. I'm not looking to do filming often. So, for me, this would be a great setup. Great vid and review!!!

I hope the Weebill doesn't have the reliability issues I got with DJI!
Gimbal perfectly balanced, turning it on , starting to vibrate like crazy and then jumped off the table! (caught it in the air with camera...
Can't complain about lacking effort though, they tried to get it working right for 3 hours! It went back to Amazon. Hopefully the Weebill has no issues with a 6700.
I actually like the backpack. The vertical plate is huge plus and made me buy this. I wasn’t even looking for a new gimbal but I saw this and waited for it to come out.

I’m trying to decide between the Weebill 3S and the DJI RS 3 Mini. I have a Sony a7iii with Zeiss 55mm 1.8 and 24-70mm Sony kit lens. Which one would you recommend?
I wanted something light but I didn’t want to compromise stabilisation.

Do you know how to connect WEEBILL 3S with Sony A73 via Bluetooth?
Idk why but even though my weebill 3s combined with the zve1 (with sony 35mm f1.8) which is perfectly balanced is not smooth.. and I can't seem to figure it out.. I tried a lower and higher deadband.. tried the same with motors but no luck so far 😢

Does Zhiyun or an aftermarket company offer an adaptor for GoPro and cellphones for the 3S?
I can't find the official adapter for GoPro and cellphones.
In the standard version, is there a place to fix a monitor by screw? And does it also include support for recording vertically?

I showed the vertical mounting option in the video. There’s no great place to put a monitor, though.

Does it balance well with a Canon T6i + Sigma 18-35? I'm concerned with how it performs near the max weight limit.
I can’t imagine that combo would be too much. My usual setup of a7iv with the 85GM on it weighs 0.3Lbs more.

Would you do the sling with it or just the gimble?
To be honest I somehow lost the sling almost immediately. Ugh.
@@WesPerry yowch. I ordered without the sling because I’ll need the other hand free anyway.
Bad thing after changing camera battery you need to rebalancing again.
