I think Sora nair is an honorable mention. he just floats outside your shield to deny grabs, and nair 2 will snuff out whatever aerial you try to attack him with. if Sora has 60% and hits you with nair and you don't have a frame one option, you better start praying that Sora fucks up the cutscene he's going to unleash on you.
If you aim to punish nair 2 it’s not so bad. There is a giant gap between nair 2 and 3 that a lot of characters can consistently abuse. This is also true of Fair, which is really good because they need Fair 2 to hitconfirm. Just remember that blocking is free and he will eventually end the string with a move that is very minus on block, giving you time to either punish in some way or escape further pressure. The real privilege is his extra range and active frames on SWORD combo moves. And he’s immune to SDI and effectively DI as well. Total bullshit balanced only by his horrendous movement and meh framedata.
@@SparkyForce as a Sora main, the term "extra range" on the swordie who's known for his lack thereof is crazy lol. I will admit that his combos are bs tho, no argument. also what kind of Sora ends they string with a very minus move? FF nair 2 can outspace grabs (that aren't tethers), and it pancakes a bit as well, making some oos aerials completely invalid. I just abuse these facts to try and figure out how you handle shield pressure, and then go from there.
@@thatoneboi9178 I was talking about the disjoint. The active frames combined with the lack of counterplay via SDI/DI on sword moves is very abnormal in this game. As far as safety goes, Sora’s Nair 2 is at best -8, which isn’t great. His ground framedata is shit which means even if he makes it safe via good spacing he doesn’t get anything else. Which is why I said you get to either punish him or escape. It is quite literally as simple as grab/oos option if he’s close and sh back if he’s too far. I play Link it’s the exact same thing with his Fair. You either get the hit and everything that comes with that, or you get to reset neutral. This is also the case with Fair 1/2, only it’s even worse on block. None of his scary stuff is safe enough to get pressure afterwards. The fact that everything resets neutral is important because his neutral is garbage. The only move that can kind of steal turns is Dtilt. And I’m just going to say it even though I think it’s obvious, I’m talking in general and only considering the average situations most characters will face. Not someone like Kazuya with zero OoS game to speak of, or GnW who doesn’t know what pressure is in the first place.
@@SparkyForce oh that makes sense. I personally never thought nair 2 was that bad on shield cause I don't usually get punished hard for it, at worst I fuck up the spacing at ledge and get back throwed into next week. thanks for telling me about this tho, I think it's pretty interesting.

While both are good moves, they still need proper spacing and good timing mixup to utilize to their fullest extent. Also they lose to every move on this list
Samus charge shot isn't transcendent. It just does a lot of damage so it beats most attacks through normal rules of priority(damage). You can swat charge shot away with many strong aerials or another charge shot, which wouldn't happen if it were a laser. Also Steve dtilt isn't safe on block unless you shield the whole thing. The middle of it is unsafe.
Thank you for mentioning Kazuya. I was wondering if he made it to the listt and he did. I like how the most "broken character" Steve, has just a couple of privilege noves but Kazuya ia like his entire kit.
Imagine if Steve get XP mechanic alongside Mining mechanic, and they added moves like this: - Get materials by mining - Summon Crafting Table (Shield + B) - Crafting Tools (Neutral B on Crafting Table) - Crafting Armors (Shield + Neutral B on Crafting Table) - Crafting Firework Rockets x3 (Up B on Crafting Table), used for boost flight & changing direction midair, and for Crossbow ammo - Crafting Crossbow & Arrows x4 (Down B on Crafting Table), use Shield + Up/Side B to shoot (can be holded for diagonal direction) - Get XP by hitting opponents - Summon Enchanting Table (Shield + Down B) - Enchanting Tools (Any B directions on Enchanting Table), Neutral = Mending, Up = Efficiency, Down = Fortune/Looting, Side = Sharpness/Power - Enchanting Armors (Shield + Any B directions on Enchanting Table), Neutral = Mending, Up = Unbreaking, Down = Protection, Side = Thorns
Kazuya’s random ass limb intangibility on most of his kit is the worst part of the character. He can literally just swing THROUGH you a lot of the time. You barely even have to think.

Low key the reversal king. Developers tried to counter this by making him have a real bad offense with being light and no real advancing option. like Ness he doesn’t actually have a low committal advancing option that is for simply hitting the opponent in fronnt of him. All his advancing options are for high pressure only(forward air being best example). He ultimately lives and dies by dash attack when it matters.
How about Hero's side-B being neither an energy attack NOR a projectile, despite looking like lightning. It counts as a physical hitbox. It cannot be absorbed or reflected, and has enough range to not be hit by any counter in the game. Oh, and it can KO early.
