Hi!! the body panels would be 8 stitches less wide so it would be smaller, which could work depending on your size! I'm a size S/M for reference

Can different yarn sizes make different panel lengths? I did 130 rows for the arm panels like the video says but they are far too long!
oh no omg!!! different size yarns can definitely produce different size panels, the yarn I use is a DK weight yarn and requires a 4.5mm crochet hook!! It could also be a size difference, I'm 5'9" so I could have longer arms than the average

the tightest tension!!! sorry forgot to mention that bc I use my hand for tension but it's the tightest for this yarn
