    This is exactly what I was considering doing with Shelly in a bathroom - Thanks. My only concern is creating frequent enough sample points (and the impact on the battery...or I probably need to go USB wire route). If this is in a bath, I'd really want it to sample almost every minute to start when the steam is present..... Or, here's an odd thought, have the fan run when water is flowing to the shower (and someone is sitting on the pooper!).

    This is an interesting little device. It would be good for grabbing long term data to establish trends.

      Yeah, just leave behind all around the house. It looks like with time data gets aggregated, but still lot of data to analyse over time.

    Anyone know how to reset it so it can be re adopted?

    I have a white version and whenever the connection to my router is the whole network, I have to disconnect and reset the network to work again. It has not been used for half a year, unfortunately.

    When should I enable the Shelly Access Point?

      To be honest never. I don't see the point ever using it.

      @@csongorvarga So basically, Access Point is not met to be an inernal wifi for the Shelly device? Meaning it cannot provide data reading to the App in Access Point mode right? It needs to be connected to the external WiFi.

      @@dorotheetherrien5428 I never tried it. Access point in the past were used to connect to the device to set up the wifi network. I guess if you have the Shelly running in a remote setup with no wifi, you can turn it into access point and when you are close by you can control it. But it guess it is a niche application

    Hi Csongor!
    I have really liked your video about H&T sensor. Thanks a lot! I am thinking about turning my heating system into a smart one. I have 6 rooms in my house and if I would place one H&T sensor in each room I think I would have a problem with my boiler because it should turn on if the temperature in one of the rooms would be lower than I wanted.
    If I would like to have a temperature of 22 Celsius in "A" but I would like to
    avoid the temperature is going above 18 Celsius in "B", then I guess, I would not be able to do that.
    Do you have some ideas, how to solve this?
    I would be very glad to get from you.
    Best regards
    Josef

      Well yes. You need the sensors in each room and turn on the boiler if any of the room is below the set temperature, plus you also need valves, e.g. smart radiator valves for each room so you can turn it off if that room get too warm.

    • @mrakovicsjozsef
      @mrakovicsjozsef 3 роки тому

      @@csongorvarga Yeah, it is clear. Do I need the sensors if I have the smart radiator valves assembled on each radiator? The valves also could trigger my boiler if the room needs more or less temperature. What should I integrate into the system? How would it be a good and simple solution as possible?

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  3 роки тому

      @@mrakovicsjozsef You are right, those valves should be enough as well. It all depends on how you can set up the logic in the app. But if you can create an automation like "if any of the radiator valves are open, turn on the boiler" you should be OK.

    • @mrakovicsjozsef
      @mrakovicsjozsef 3 роки тому

      @@csongorvarga Thanks. I guess I should also buy a central unit to the valves because the heating process must be optimised and I am not sure enough being able to do that by myself.
