H Q This is for Single Degree of Freedom System. If the “structural dynamics” you mentioned refers to continuous structure (infinite d.o.f), this will use wave equation, but the fundamental is the same.
@@AzmaPutra-channel cool, so if its a sdof system and a question gives a force of say 250kN by a hydraulic jack and then the force is removed suddenly, and its given that theres 15% critical damping, is it considered a forced damped vibration? Also how would i write the equation of motion for the given scenario & how would i find the displacement after a given time say 0.3 seconds after the force is released?
