This boggles the mind how much work went into the making of all this...Questions arise...Like: Why???,Why???,Why???When I used to work in construction when we poured a concrete floor afterward(when the cement hardened) I ran a large 'Stihl saw to cut the floor into sections and when I asked someone why we do this was told that this id done so that if a crack appears that ir wont crack through the whole of the floor...maybe this is the explanation for separating the various sections with iron....Hmmm

Great video, can I ask... Do you think it was a complete steel frame or skeleton built first then the polymer poured all at once or section by section? I know you point out some different colours at different parts of the building, are they extensions?

Just some thoughts Paul from where I'm at currently watching 25 minutes .. I had been thinking it looked industrial and maybe like an old harbour wall; my daughter said it looks like a dam, which then made me wonder if it was a hydroelectric dam. That either explain all the channels for cables and the very fact that its modern usage is for the energy company .. really makes me wonder if they're using the old tech inside the structure, hidden away, for providing power now.

Malta is a wonderful and interesting place. I've seen most of what you are showing here but it was long ago. My mother recommended I go and look. I think she said something about some of the apartment looking places that it was thought that the population would need to hide during some future war or something like that. Fifty euro is a great price and Malta a great place to visit.

Malta has always been on my bucket list and I have not got there yet so this is such a treat for me! I had a Maltese dog, which were royalty there and the source of most of the other small fluffy dogs such as the shitzu, Havanese, etc. Maltese are so smart and loyal and entertaining as hell. The best little guy ever and I miss him dearly. I would have another Maltese in a heart beat. Precious little perpetual puppies. Sorry to go about the dog but do they represent the people of Malta much anymore?
