Congratulations one your first place win . A great video of the tournament. I have learned so much about crappie fishing from you . I have a few questions about how you determined to use planers while the rest of the anglers fished deeper . What was the water temperature to begin with . Them how much did the temperature rise , how long did it take to come up to the desired temperature. 😊 Also what depth of water were you trolling in ?

2 - 5 ft of water. The water climbing in temp at all will push fish shallow. Because shallow water warms first. Warm rain will warm shallow water more than deeper.
