Brilliant channel lads I’d subbed last season, one of the few opposition pods I watch regardless of whether or not you’re playing us.
It's nice to be reminded we exist. The MSM mention Citeh, LiVARpool, Assna and Spuds all the time but hardly ever Villa. It's like we're a ghost club. 😂😂

Rogers has been good for us because he’s a carbon copy of Jacob Ramsey so he fits the system perfectly and is thriving under those strict conditions. Great channel guys, very charismatic 👍🏻 UTV.

Evening from an exhausted Villa fan in the car on the way back from Lille.
I will be ignoring Toms theory about Rogers as I've only been told how shit he is since the moment he signed. 🤷♀️
2 matches a season I can't back you lads. 2-1 Villa, Villa go 2-0 up then you score from a corner towards the end of the game when we are exhausted and ill be asleep in my seat too QP. (Definitely didn't forget)
Rogers has been absolutely quality in last few games... going from strength to strength.
There are some decent pubs in the city centre, alternatively you could go to the Station pub in Sutton Coldfield which is next to the train station and about 12 minutes to Aston. Or go to Lichfield, a really nice place to visit, good pubs and on the same train line, about 30 minutes to Aston.
Must say I am impressed with the quality of your chanel. Keep up the good work.
As a villa fan this is going to be a struggle i wouldnt even call this match a potential banana skin its gonna be a close affair we are seriously running on reserves i feel utv.

Will never forget Warren after the unfortunate incident in a game where he received a direct hit to the crown jewels. After treatment play resumed and he immediately received another direct hit to same spot. The audible groan from around the terraces said it all 😂.

An excellent approach by Iraola in his interview with BBC: “On deciding whether to start Enes Unal and Dominic Solanke together: "Enes is playing very well from the bench. He hasn't started any game. We never want to lose Dom and he is in such good form we want to find ways they can compliment each other. It is something we have in our mind yes."

I think there is a time in any competition that quality and structure fades away and the term world class becomes necessary. World class players perform consistently and turn up when the ralle cry call comes when they are most needed a world class player gets it done.
Emi Martinez stood up and won the game and he has done it regularly

If it helps - the ghost goal didn't keep Villa up. I know that the media ignored everything else in that game, and that the narrative suited Bournemouth fans at the time, but:
Firstly, the ref, within minutes, equalled that out by allowing the Sheff Utd defender to save McGinn's goal-bound shot.
And not just 'oh, it hit his hand' - the guy saved it full-stretch with his hand like a goalie because it was on it's way in (keeper beaten).
It was the definition of a red card and penalty, but the ref made clear he wasn't giving it and told Ginny it was to balance it out. Villa didn't kick up a fuss.
Absolutely ignored by all and Sundry, which frankly is weird, because you'd think that would have made an interesting story too (especially after the media traction that the Villa- Leeds game got in the Championship season before when Leeds cheated and Bielsa was so embarrassed by their disgusting behaviour that he made them let Villa walk a goal in)
... but the media is what the media is, and presenting the whole story just doesn't suit most of them, does it?
You can, ofc, go back and watch it.
Secondly: No team was screwed out of as many points as Villa that season. Both of the indepenent reviews showed that Villa shouldn't have been near the relegation zone. They were directly screwed out of 12 points, and decisions around red cards and penalties not given affected 4 more games. It bares remembering that that was the season the rules were changed THREE times to justify, retroactively, decisions that cost Villa goals and points.
Anyway, hope it helps you get over the relegation.
This season, losing to Man Utd was ridiculously embarassing. Their first goal at Villa Park shouldn't have stood (what a surprise - man utd getting a series of inexplicable decisions...) but otherwise we dominated both games and managed to throw them away.
Only thing more embarassing was drawing with Sheff Utd on a NINETEEN game winning streak, when we would have gone top of the league for Xmas. Ref clearly was not a Villa fan that day. Disallowing a goal because the attacker is being fouled and the keeper gets wrapped up in it ffs... just a part of the absolute nonsense that day.
Enjoy the weekend lads - but surely you'd be better off saying in brum? Drown your sorrows Sunday night, hole up in a hotel recovering on e Monday and then just walk down to Molineux to watch your boys thrash the Dingles?

I often watch previews from fan channels and yours is one of the better ones of all the other teams. There is a pretty good Luton one too. Both of you seem level headed and seem less prone to hyperbole or drama which is an unfortunate trait many of the other clubs don't seem to have. Aside from this Sunday when I hope we smash you (sorry GD may matter with Spurs) I hope Bournemouth finish the seaon well. Iraola has been a great addition to the PL managers

It would be interesting to get the real season expectations of Bournemouth fans for this and next season. TV pundits only concentrate only on the Sky Six. Excluding VILLA.
This season has been disappointing for EPL clubs in European competitions, with all getting knocked out at the quarterfinal stage except for Aston Villa.
Ivan Toney going to the Euros ahead of Watkins or Solanke would be gutting. Never mind how many games he's missed - look at this goals per minute and conversion rate.
