It's more cost effective to make butter than buy. Where I am, in Kenya, butter is pretty expensive. Fresh milk(which I have access to) that is straight from the cow is affordable. Making homemade butter takes a longer time, because one has to skim the milk for fresh cream and collect it for a couple of days, once the desired amount of fresh cream has been collected then the process of making the butter is straightforward. The best thing about it, is that, it doesn't need electricity or any fancy gadgets to make.
Yes, I divided the cream into 2 batches. In the last few minutes of the video I used a blender which took 10minutes to turn the cream into butter. I wanted to highlight that absolutely anyone can make butter, with or without electricity😊
🥰☺this tastes sooooo good, no commercial butter can compete. I made butter a while ago just like this, because I wanted to.. silly maybe, but Very rewarding! and smart, because electricity sometimes is not on hand.
I agree, the taste is superior👌🏽 This method is definitely time consuming but the end justifies the means😃 Using an electric blender quickens the process as is demonstrated at the last few minutes of the video😊
Not sure but u can definitely use pasteurized cream. Pasteurized milk has most of its fat taken off through the heating process. Remember most milk is also homogenized. If you want to try, just leave out your unboiled milk in a container in the fridge over 24hrs and see if a thick enough layer of cream forms. All the best!
These homemade skills are very vital with this our economy
Yes, we must find creative ways to save a coin.
@@herewithfi exactly. But is it not more expensive to make butter than buy one?

Good very good
Thank you🙂
You can also use a hand churner, blender(works faster) . From raw cow milk u take longer. Whipping cream takes like 15mins.. ❤

Hey Fi do you sell or know where I can get butter at wholesale price? Preferably straight from the farmer.
Hi Collins. I don't sell butter, unfortunately I don't know where it's sold at a wholesale price.
Hi hiyo 14 days ulikua una store wapi
Hi. Hua nastore kwa fridge.
Hello why didn't mine turn yellow
Hello. There's a probability that the fat content in the cream was low
I have to send you a blender
How kind of you🙏🏽
Hizi butter za yellow huezi paka mkate ukule ni Mafuta tu
Unaweza paka mkate na ni tamu sana. Butter is the fatty portion of milk, kwa hivyo ni mafuta.
