Ahh I want them all! Here in south Florida I think I’ll just have to stick with growing your Nepenthes lowlanders on my porch… or maybe I’ll just buy more of your plants and start up a bog anyways lol
Venus flytrap takes about 22 seconds for a fly to touch those trips hairs again before to slams shut…. Also that sword swallower looks like ‘Deep throat’ made by Peter D’amato
Hi Dom have you managed to do a part 2 of your unboxing few months ago, as you were waiting for someone to arrive from the airport ? Hopefully we will see soon. Many thanks from the UK 🇬🇧
I love love love that water Lily Dom!!!! 😮Where did u get if from? I dare say it wouldn’t grow well in South Australia. I keep waiting to buy something from Exotica (any kind of Truncata or candy stripe) but it’s just a waiting game 😪
Beautiful! I love the bog cheetos (Polygala lutea)! Those are my favorite. They're super hard to get in Virginia though. I am getting ready to start an outdoor bog!
I am excited to know that many of these plants will grow and overwinter outside! Now I am interested in some of these unusual plants! Can the Venus Flytrap overwinter outside? (Fine video that kept me interested.) Your last bed was the best in show. I bet all that white reflects the sun and really helps keep that bed vibrant!
Yes VFT are naturally native to the costal areas of north and South Carolina. They experience all 4 seasons in their natural habitats. Biggest things to remember are organic peat with no fertilizers, water with a TdS below 50 ppm, and full sun. In zone 7 they sit in the sun literally all day.
Hi Dom I bought one of your warocqueanum seedlings a few months ago and it dropped all but one leaf. I tried neem oil, transplanting to new soil, and even a synthetic systemic insecticide. It still wasn't healthy and the other day I scraped off what must've been scale from the remaining leaf. This whole time I thought it was scarring since it doesn't look like the pictures of scale I found on the internet. Have you had any scale on the warocqueanums????? On the other hand, my spritus I got from you is the healthiest plant I have... That thing is a tank and it sits right next to the queen
13:42 was just an instant of pure chaos in what was supposed to be a nice moment about plants.
The chaos after the bee sting was IT!
I could watch these bog tours all day. Man I wish I had the space!!!!!!
It’s the tradition! We need to hear Dom’s scream in all bog garden video😂
We want a Nepenthes tour!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
The best bog garden I have seen yet!! Great work! 😎👍
