I feel pain as well, and I am so glad someone said this. I have tried repositioning it and everything.
Yeah I definitely don't think it's for everyone!
Your not the only one. I saw on another video a mom (mama shark) said the same thing that it hurt. She didnt squeeze it as hard when suction and that helped a little bit for her.
Thank you! I thought I was the only one
i just ordered this and I am in so much pain omg. I spent 1 hour and I only got 3.5 oz.My electric pump I would get 4 oz in half the time. I really want this to work because its so handy. The pain is almost unbearable and I only get drops. Where is the stream lol. One thing I did notice is that if you have a clogged duct it will unblock it :)
I have extremely sensitive breast and nipples!! I will say that using it has caused no pain you may need to check the position of your nipple. Make sure its pointing at a downward angle completely inside the pump 😉
Thank you for this tip! I will try that
Finally someone said it. It hurts. I feel like I am doing something wrong as well.
Right! I be realized that it hurts mostly when I’m having a let down and when the milk comes out
It hurts me too..
Any updates?
Is Elvie better than spectra?
Hi Shay. Do you recommend this suction cup for working moms who work long hours e.g 24 at a time? Let’s say I get 2 of these, would I be able to express enough milk to last the baby about 36hrs or so? Basically how long would I have to leave them on my breasts to get enough milk to last 36-48hrs? Cos it seems like it only gives a millimeters at a time. That’s my main concern.
Hey! So in my opinion every mom is different in regards to how much breast milk they produce. For me, I only use it while breastfeeding and I get about an ounce in 5 minutes. For you I would suggest getting an electric pump and try pumping about 3-4 times a day if you can. They also have pumps that can go inside your bra for more discretion and convenience but they’re pretty expensive.
@@shayandrele245 yeah I was leaning towards an electric one as well, specifically Lansinoh dual electric. Thank you very much for input once again. All the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
@@nonkolisontobela3688 Awesome, thank you so much for watching! You should also check out the Medela pump
@@shayandrele245 heard that the Medela sometimes has back flow into the piping and causes mould to form. Any idea if that’s true?
@@nonkolisontobela3688 so far I haven’t experienced that, I’ve been using it for 4 months now
I just bought mine and had to come on UA-cam to see if I was doing it right being it HURT so bad. Lol
Exactly! I did the same and I didn’t see anyone say that it hurt them lol. I even checked the Haakaa website lol
@@shayandrele245 they must be numb to the pain. Lol
@@ebonygray4266 exactly!! 🤣
Same here😂. I was so excited for pain free pumping n now I’ve been let down 😂
