Damn, that is beautiful! The 1956 was the prettiest Chevy of the '55, '56, '57 years. I had a '56 like that back in 1971. Jade green metal flake paint job with vinyl top, which was the thing back then. Had a 327 'Vette engine, tear drop hood scoop, cragar ss mag wheels, Mickey Thompson wide oval tires, etc. Man, it was pretty!
Yes they removed the mirrors...this cars is so fast you will not need to worry about what is behind you...I truly appreciate your support of my channel!!
"SLIKN" is proof enough for me that doing a hotrod yourself is a labor of love. It's all about the DETAILS. The DETAILS are emphasized at every nook and cranny on this car. Exceptional job fellas. Homer...High Fives to ScottieD, and the builders of this car. Much success in your showing of the car.
I so love the understatement of Joe. Look at him: No tattoos, no silly tough guy show-off attitude. And indeed, why would he bother about 'branding himself'? Look at that car. That level of craftsmanship just speaks all for itself. Kudos to Joe and Josh.
That is a masterpiece of automotive art. It makes the Mona Lisa look like a doodle. The existence of such a superlative work reveals the need for the Nobel Committee to create a new category of award to recognize this contribution to human achievement.
Attention to detail makes or breaks a car, and they really knocked one out of the park with this car. You could look at this car for hours and not see it all. Great job, guys!
Thanks Scottie you show the best video's. 56 Chevy is my favorite of the tri 5 the grill, front bumper and taillights won me. This one's cool Black and Red with chrome works. 454 built polished aluminum n chrome Rocks this!!!
Hey Scottie I had to look again, Thanks for making my day you can eat off of the underneath I don't believe how this looks.Every thing is chromed Wow you rocked it. Perfect car in every detail!!!

I bet you were happy to film it. I've always been a car guy. Wished I still had my 62 Bonneville, I 'am 58 and grew up with a lot of the cool cars! You do a good job of filming these cars. Thanks!
There are several reason to like this Car....and no doubt it is a High end build....but I think the coolest thing...is the Smile on Joe and Josh face...thanks for checking it out Brother..
My first new car! A black '56 Chevy 210 Hardtop. I bought it at Langhorn Chevrolet in PA (near Trenton, NJ. for about $2700. I was in the Navy stationed at McGuire AFB in NJ and the engine in my '49 Merc coupe was tired. There was only a little over 2700 210 hardtops made so that makes them rare. What made mine doubly rare was that it had the "Power Pack" engine option which included a 4-barrel, dual exhausts and hi-compression (9.25 / 1) heads. The trans was the standard 3 speed manual and weighing less than 3,000 lbs. it was a screamer. The factory interior was very plain (cloth and vinyl). These seats are out of a '65 Impala and they built the side panels. The wheel is not stock but the panel looks pretty orig. I kept it about 7 years and sold it to a sailor at NAS Quonset Point, RI where I was then working as a civilian employee of the Navy, overhauling Navy A/C. COuld this beity? Who knows.

Dude. I gotta tell you. Before I got addicted to your channel, I used to want an Audi R8 for my summer toy vehicle. Now that I'm hooked on rods...I'm like 'Why the hell would I do that?!' I'm no builder but I got a 37 Ford 5-window coupe in my head that I'm sure would be more fun than anything I could drive off a lot. I'd love to see you get picked up by the Speed Channel or somethin, man. It's NUTS to see what incredible things regular folks are doing with cars.
The 210 chrome lines are just perfect for your Slikn, just clean lines that please the eye. You guys took it just where it needs to be and not an inch too far. It takes a great eye to see where you need to go without going over board.
