  • Vren55 Explains the dos and don't of capital vessels. Capitals are the most popular style of ship in the game for noobs and veterans alike, and as such there are a lot of misconceptions and common mistakes that are easy to make, as well as simple solutions to all of them. Vren goes over these, and uses examples of them happening in real matches. As before, if you have questions, ask them in the comments, or DM me or Vren55 on discord.

    This video is so incredibly helpful! If there's anyway there can be more videos produced in the same fashion as this one that would be amazing!

    I found the explanation of how shells deal their damage to be really interesting, but I was left with a question about AP shells. Obviously, they can penetrate into the hull of a ship, but once they hit a compartment or module, does all the damage get dumped into the first thing that gets hit? Or is the shell able to continue penetrating components, and then in that case, the damage gets divided among affected components like in the explanation for HE shells?

      vren55 here, and YES you hit the compartment or module and the AP just dumps everything into the first thing that gets hit.
      with one caveat. IF the shell OVERPENETRATES then it dumps across the divided components I believe

      I see! You know, the effectiveness of 250 bulkers makes a lot more sense now

    I am a new player myself, but there is a mistake at 10:30. It's not 40% it's 25% as listed. It's 10% base and +15% additionally with 25% in total. The green numbers are only explaining why the total number is 25%, not actually adding anything to 25% as it is. Be careful with this, as it can confuse.

    I'm a little late, but is there any fleet files for the tutorial fleets in this video like there was for the others?

    • @dargaribdus
      @dargaribdus  2 місяці тому

      There were not. Unlike the others, Vren mostly tackled concepts related to play and movement moreso than fleet design.

      Not really. The whole point of doing these long-form videos is that short summaries don't really cut it for nebulous.
