@karlwithak. he did a lot of wrong actually. the reason McCall decided to wipe the mafia in particular is them terrorising the people of the village he chose to call his new home. he basically orders his brother and his goons to bully the people of Altamonte out of the village so that he can build his resort thingy on its coastline

Also, the symbolism of making the dead body drop through the stain glass window depicting Saint Michael. The angel that cast Satan out of heaven. Robert then cast the devil out of his paradise.
McCall chased him into the street so he could die there, just like his brother. He was surrounded by the people he didn't care about, at his weakest and most desperate, literally dying, with nobody to mourn or even care about him. He was just another corpse in the street, like all the others-killed by the drugs that he sold to his people. Brought down from the highest position to become literally nothing but garbage. McCall wanted to make sure he died there in front of the people.

8:04 I love this part. McCall was humiliating his victim. The gate was electrically operated, and the dying Mafia struggled to open it. I love that they pulled out the phones because I don't think I saw a single phone in this town until this scene. Just goes to show how addicted we are to our mobile devices in some cultures.
Mr McCall is a calm and kind person. But when some bad guys crossed paths with him, they'd surely taste a terrifying death. All in all, Equalizer series teach us humility.
One of the scariest things about this character is how he does not shy away from death, but seems to actually relish every second of its approach. It’s chilling coming from a person who is normally doing his best to be fair and honest with people, to do the “right thing” by them and avoid conflict when possible. That sudden flip of a switch from “quiet, nice guy” to “I will inflict death and drink it like the finest wine” is horrifying.
I must say that they truly made a wonderful movie no one but Denzel can play this role went on vacation there and ìt truly is a beautiful place and so are the people wonderful just wonderful.
I like that they didn’t show Denzel dispatching any of these men. I was wondering if Denzel was too old for action, apparently not, when all action is left off screen. Truly, one of the decisions of all time.
@@karlwithak. Don't knock it until you try it. This is one of Denzel better film. Thankfully its not woke. It brings that positive masculinity in an age of wokism nonesense which is becoming rare these days. First one was really good. second was ok but third one beats the second one. I have never seen the 80s TV series.
Before the Equalizer movies, I used to fall asleep watching Man on Fire every single night. I have a really good friend who was Army Special Forces who "had that kind of power, history, and experience. " But those who do, don't speak of it. There's zero boasting involved. How would I find out? If I asked a specific question, I would get a truthful answer.
How defiant could you be to tell your captor you will find them and beat them like a dog, while tied to a pillar spluttering mucas and after finding out his whole crew was eliminated by the same man 😂
that happens when your entire being is subhuman. He is so immoral, so worthless that he cannot even conceive that this is happening. In his mind there is no bigger crime than anyone raising his hand against the mafia and him.
@metamorphicorder - that isn't really true. The desire for privacy doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. There's nothing unusual about not wanting your life broadcast in some massive way. There is a big difference between being seen by the people who are in a public place with you and being seen by thousands or potentially millions of people online. When someone videos a person and posts it online, they remove that person's ability to govern how publicly they are being displayed.
This is got to be one of the best movie scripts & dialogue I've seen in many years. The cinematography, background music & cast is off the wall spectacular. I like that this movie showed the other side of McCall. He is a psychopath, there is a part of him that enjoys the act of killing. I think this is a more realistic representation given his past.
I counter the "why do I hear boss music meme" with: The dude I declared war on broke into my house, killed all my men, forced me to OD on my own supply, and is singing to me. 💀 I'm so fucked.
@karlwithak. sad that you feel that. From a number of the interviews and the like, apparently Denzel was willing to break his long-standing “I don’t do sequels” rule for this particular movie set. He (and the other folk involved) were passionate enough about this story-line that they all pretty much really wanted to continue it. Something, maybe, to take into consideration. And for this movie in particular, there is the familiar dynamic from Man on Fire between the two actors, that makes the ease of their interaction delightful.

Seeing Dakota and Denzel in a film together again was magical.
Magical?
This was their second movie together.
Liam Neeson makes a great movie called "Taken". Denzel says, "hold my beer"
Is a great movie, I love Denzel Washington, I see this movie, I like it, thank you, 10 /10
I love that they pulled out the phones because I don't think I saw a single phone in this town until this scene. Just goes to show how addicted we are to our mobile devices in some cultures.
So very true 👏👏
Dude killed everyone in the house and THEN he wakes homie up. Cold
Imagine Robert McCall and John Wick teaming up
Sisu also and Toshiro of Re: Born is good to collab in one, 5 hours movies is enough
I’m waiting for that one!!!!!!🔥🔥
Could you imagine:
John Wick
Robert McCall
Jason Bourne
Jack Reacher
In one setting - the body count would be extremely high
@@yacaattwood2421versus SpongeBob square pants, Patrick, and baby shark.
And Hutch Mansell
I appreciate that Robert metaphorically and literally “dog walks” Vincent 😂😮
You know they are dead when he takes the watch out of the drawer.
Attack before theyxl attack you. Excellent scene😂
No one can compete with a man equalizer. ❤🎉 especially this man.
There is one....
"He was once an associate of ours. We called him: "Baba Yaga"... The one you sent to kill the Boogeyman".
Excellent background music in this superb film.
I like that they didn’t show Denzel dispatching any of these men. I was wondering if Denzel was too old for action, apparently not, when all action is left off screen. Truly, one of the decisions of all time.
I think it's so you see it from the guys perspective, waking up to this not knowing what is happening
I think they cut this part down a little, because I think I remember him dispatching some guards outside before the guy busting trough the roof!
They cut the part where he took every single one of them
It's funny cause I remember the scene where he kill all the guards was in the movie
@7:45 Denzel following him around like a Komodo following it's prey after it bites them. 😂😂
The marks of a great actor when you can bring out the emotion of people
@@karlwithak.
That’s the same arrogance that got him tracked down and killed
The only situation where people pulling out their phones is actually helping
No. Sunlight is always a good idea. If cameras are your enemy in public, you are the enemy of the public.
3:21. Every parent, walking on random Legos on the way to the bathroom at 3AM
I would love. Equaliser and The Punisher in a movie together...imagine the absolute carnage 😂😅😅😅
I'm actually hoping for like a twist where Equalizer and John Wich are in the same universe.
@@Joker97131 Sisu also and Toshiro of Re: Born is good to collab in one, 5 hours movies is enough
Denzel said NO more equalizer movies
This is got to be one of the best movie scripts & dialogue I've seen in many years. The cinematography, background music & cast is off the wall spectacular. Denzel will always be one of the greatest actors in the world. Robert McCall (2 c's & 2 ll's) is an iconic role & can only see Denzel playing this role. I hope they make Equalizer 4. Can't get enough if Mac. 😀
DW is such a great actor
To me Denzel Washington is one of the greatest actors of all time because he plays these roles so well and he never seems to amaze us in all of his scenes. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
Buena y buen final..Denzel castiga con toda su fuerza..
3:05 great kill reference to the first film. ❤️
Told my friend they didn't get Robert McCall, they got John Creasy.
Best comment I've read in a long time
Your a legend
I've loved all these movies. One of the few sequel movies where each is as great as the first
2:52 is the only minus point im giving! annoying music going WEEEEOOM!
“I understand weakness. I understand pain. I understand death. I understand suffering. And because of these people I’m starting to understand peace you can’t take that away from me. God as my witness, you’re are not about to take it away from them so do you understand? That’s the question”. That’s why I love Denzel because he is one of my favorite actors.
"I understand weakness. I understand pain. I understand death. I understand suffering". McCall made that mafia boss feel all of that , with death being the last one.
Denzel has never made a bad movie the man is amazing and my favorite actor
Denzel embodies gods wrath against the filth and scum on this earth .. his gaze his eyes penetrate evaluate and judge . All who feel safe now in violating all that is innocent have no place to hide , nowhere to go . The lamb of God is now a lion , invincible untouchable and merciful but final

The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
I thought this gonna be “im going to train you guys so you can defend yourself when they come” type of movie. I was wrong. He go to their HQ the same night! I love it when the bad guys scared shitless 😂
He was the slasher of the film.
“Send all you politicians straight down to hell
The only Washington I trust is Denzel”

This has essentially become a horror movie, with Denzel killing bad guys instead of teenagers.
He is more like a real boogeyman than jw himself.
He’s the Jason Voorhees of the Italian underworld!
😂
This mafia should be no different than the ones Mcall dealt with from the first movie.
Better him than female pretending..... ❤🎉😊

I love him as pearson, as an actor and as an teacher😮...He is soo good in his film...But that last scene was so mentally hard to watch...Your fear ( Diesel ) walking next to you while dying to your mistakes ( drugs ) and finally die next him so good example of what is happing in this world😮😮...Really good movie😊
Denzel is more cold blooded than those Mafia guys when he is doing his things 😅😅
The music coordinator on this screen is crazy amazing!
Right on! All Evil Shall Perish 👊
He's one of the best actors I've ever seen in my life. They know who the cast for these roles
I like that this movie showed the other side of McCall. He is a psychopath, there is a part of him that enjoys the act of killing. I think this is a more realistic representation given his past.
This.
Denzel plays it superbly.
"I'll be here" "I'll be waiting for you, hurry up". Too cold
he followed him like death 😂
He was like the Grim Reaper following him unto death 😈
I'm gonna say it. Equalizer is as good if not better than John Wick
I’m almost certain Denzel clicking his guns together like that was a nod to his time as Alonzo 🤘🏻
This movie is all time! 10 out of 10.
Justice being served to evildoers is ALWAYS cathartic!
To this day the mob boss is still asking who he is.
He's not gonna ask now. He's dead.
I counter the "why do I hear boss music meme" with: The dude I declared war on broke into my house, killed all my men, forced me to OD on my own supply, and is singing to me. 💀 I'm so fucked.
pure fear in vincent's voice - great acting
For someone who stood on so much glass (& even pulled it out of his foot), the bad guy walks extremely well & leaves no blood marks on the floor...
best movie 2023 bud.
If only Edward Woodward, the OG Equalizer, could see this. I'm sure he would've loved it.
I thought they were strong people, but it turned out they were strong people because they had bodyguards and weapons. Their guts disappeared when their bodyguards and weapons were no longer there.
- Who are you?
- I'm the Equalizer 3
Who doesn't love his Equalizer movies? How 🤔 else are you going to deal with true Evil? A True Warrior Guardian Angel.
The ending of the second movie was the worst ever but they are all bad ass because it's Denzel
He didn't make this guy suffer enough. 🙂
If the guy would’ve stayed where he was, he probably would’ve lived a lot longer but since he had to get up and try to run away once his heart rate increased the drugs, then were pushing through his veins a lot faster that’s why he said you got six minutes
@ELVIS-2022 pills of cyanide or something similar. When he was bound to the pillar the wire on his neck basically forced him to swallow the pills so he could breathe. 😮
@ELVIS-2022 He overdosed him on his own drugs which lead to stopping your heart. It felt like a fitting punishment because thats the garbage he sold to people.
@ELVIS-2022it’s the same pills the mafia was pushing.
