  • 🌈How to Blend Essential Oils FREE class! www.aromahead.com/how-to-blen...
    Aromatherapy should be simple and convenient!
    That’s why I love essential oil roll-on recipes.
    You can carry them in a bag or a pocket. They’re easy to apply. You can make therapeutic blends for everything from immune support, to mental focus, to digestion, to natural perfume. And they make great gifts!
    In this video, I show you 2 Essential Oil Roll-on Recipes that I love.
    You can make these recipes right in 10 ml roll-on bottles, or you can make a bigger batch in a 1 oz (30 ml) glass bottle, and just refill your roll-on bottle when your blend gets low. (I like to do that, and it’s great if you know that you love your blend.)
    🟣 You can see the full recipes (including a 10 ml version of the perfume), HERE: www.aromahead.com/blog/essent...

    I love the blends you create and use them often. It's also helped me along the way when formulating my own. I'm definitely going to try this perfume because I've made and used your "I wanna smell like the 60's" and it's been a hut with everyone whose tried it. Thank you :-) I've taken all your free classes over the last two years I've been following you and someday (hopefully soon) when this single momma can afford it, I'll be enrolling in your school.

      Any carrier oil you love would work, but it's best to use one with very little aroma. One thing we love about jojoba is that it has the advantage of being a liquid wax without much concern of shelf life (all other carrier oils have a limited shelf life).

    I made one a couple of years ago, obviously I've made fresh ones since then, but if I'm on the bus or standing in a queue and someone has forgotten their deodorant or to wash that day. I bring it out and rub some on my wrists, neck etc and I always get asked what it is because it's different and not over powering. That and I'm sure their relieved not having to smell the stinky person anymore. You can pick up soap and deodorant for less than a couple of quid, there's no excuse! Thanks Andrea, I'll need to get the vanilla jojoba oil xxx

      Hi Kirsty! If you have jojoba there is aways the option to infuse it yourself - that's so easy to do! If you'd like to try that there are two ways you can make Vanilla infused jojoba - either with Vanilla Oleoresin or with Vanilla beans. Here are a few blog posts on the Aromahead blog where you can read how to make your own. So fun to do!

    The first one sounds amazing! I need to pick up the first 3. I am starting to love different pines. I’m noticing a lot of hair care incorporating pines. Some don’t mention what kind. Vetiver- Everyone seems to love it and I have no idea what it smells like. Question I have benzoin EO and resin for incense but what to do with the EO? Thank you lovely lady. I miss you in the videos. No disrespect to anyone. I’m getting old and I don’t like change and I love your sweet voice. 😂

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  3 роки тому

      Thank you for your kind message, Tracy! We truly appreciate your support.😊 Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides) has a deep, earthy aroma. It is grounding and comforting, and is so calming to the nervous system that it has earned the nickname “Oil of Tranquility.” Benzoin (Styrax benzoin) essential oil is intended for use in perfumery and has a rich, intensely sweet, warm, powdery, balsamic, vanilla-like aroma, with a subtle spicy/cinnamon-like undertone.

    • @TracyD2
      @TracyD2 3 роки тому

      Aromahead Institute I had a chance to smell vetiver last night actually and it reminded me of soil and I love that smell. Oh my benzoin EO doesn’t smell as good as all that but I ordered it from an obscure amazon brand. 😬 Thank you.

      @aromatherapyoils  3 роки тому +1

      You're most welcome, Daisy! It's truly our pleasure to share!
      We like to use Jojoba as the carrier in this recipe because it absorbs quickly into the skin and offers a neutral aroma, but you can certainly substitute it for your favorite carrier in your collection. 💜

    Hello Andrea, can i adapt somehow the 2nd blend "belly bliss" for a kid who suffers of car sickness? She is 2 years old and we have a 12 hours trip to make by car and she has bad car sickness (vomits all the time). I don't have ginger essential oil. Can I replace it with other oil? Thank you so much and i just love your videos; you changed my life completely! in good of course😘

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Simona!
      There are different approaches to using essential oils with little children. The Aromahead Approach is extra cautious and for topical use we prefer to use hydrosols, butters and carrier oils on the skin of children under about 5 years old. Babies and young children’s skin can be so sensitive that essential oils can easily become overwhelming for them. Hydrosols, butters and carrier oils can often give a child the nudge they need towards rebalancing their health. Inhalation can also be a great method for kids, either diffusing for the young ones or diffusing and/or an inhaler for kids over about five.
      While travelling what we would suggest is to spray German Chamomile Hydrosol (Matricaria recutita) or Lavender Hydrosol (Lavandula angustifolia) on her blankets and around her car seat - they have a calming effect on both the body and the mind, and can help ease an upset belly.

    If I don't have chamomile, is lemongrass a good substitute? And would it be the same number of drops?

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  2 роки тому

      Hello! Essential oil substitutions always depend on the issue at hand, the intention of the blend, the person’s age, health, preferences… and so many other factors! For this particular blend, you could substitute Roman Chamomile with Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) or Bergamot Mint (Mentha citrata). 💜

    • @cricketycrickets3141
      @cricketycrickets3141 2 роки тому

      @@aromatherapyoils thank you. I thought of lemongrass because it is my favorite scent, and also good for digestion. But I also have a giant bottle of lavender, so I will try that. I'm guessing same number of drops then? Also, once it's prepared, what do I do with it? Do I roll it on my stomach, since it's a digestive aid? Or do I roll it on my wrists like a perfume?
