Behringer seems to play strong with tightened up sound, snappy transient response. The cabinet made of composite materials and being heavy isn't just pot luck. Behringer had bought Tannoy-UK, I'd expect to see great quality and price hard to beat. I'd appreciate to have dual Behringer B1800XP in my living room along with my Tannoy Revolution R2 & R3 towers. They will blend awesomely I believe. Really got me thinking about buying two of them Behringer subwoofers. Can't resist 😃
Great vid! Just wondering what was the settings on the EV ELX200-18SP? As well as which you think is better the Behringer or the EV? Keep up the good work👍
To me the Ev elx200-18sp looks the most sexy, lightest and compact perfect for mobile lazy DJ that does not want to workout the arms at the end of a gig lol! Bonus also available in white Ev elx200 -18sp. Great informative video as always. Dj Raylove : )
I was stuck between the JBL and EV, went with the EV because JBL wasn’t in stock and I’m glad I did, the sound quality is great, nice and tight… but the size and weight are huge for my needs.. the JBL will go a little lower so that’s a plus but it’s also a little muddy… pretty happy with the EV…
I'm thinking about buying new subs that weigh less. I have EV tops and really like their sound. It's a year later . . . do you still like the EV subs, and would you recommend? Thanks.
Come on people, it's all made in China under some kind of control, God forbid I'm wrong, but my favorite company JBL works, that is, Behringer works similarly to JBL. Avante works really well, kind of raw. Sometimes you have to be a little realistic.
best sub side by side subwoofer review i ever seen..... great job :). the JBL is the winner....by a long mile..... it goes lower and is much cleaner sound....paired w/ EON tops, u will be very happy....JBL has software that tunes the driver to the box and to potential tops u will be using....EV. has lost their way...owned by Boshe tool company and a poor choice if u ask m,e.... behringer is #2 in my book
Very Good Comparison. Behringer Beat all off them with the power and price. I'm using 4 Behringer B1800XP With 4 Rcf 712 I'm Very Happy With Them. Most of my Gigs I'm using 2 pieces B1800XP They are more then enough for me for 250 People Outside Events 350 - 400 People Inside events. I'm usşng them with removable wheels. Very happy with my subs. Please make more speakers comparisons for the power peak spl, quality, mobility are important for mobile djs. Thank you.
@@mikawilliamson2863 I recommend You to couple B1800XP with RCF art712mk4 and reverse Phase switch at The back of B1800XP and set 12 O'clock boost fader and put The boost on. And Set 12 O'clock crossfader frequency. Set 10 O'clock level. Put Your XLR cable to The one of theese inputs at rear and feed The RCF from thru out. Make this adjustments and you can not believe power and balance of The sound. With these adjustments B1800XP goes crazy.

My choice was also Behringer, I ordered it, have it now for only 40 days. I can tell you watching movies is awsome with it, connected with my other 10 speakers, better than cinema theatre. Even the bed is shaking.
the inputs these use a professional xlr type of in/out connectors while home theater use rca you cant have these at your home you will break everything in it including roof and walls
That Behringer B1800XP sub performs way better than the Behringer brand name would lead you to believe. I sold mine thinking I was upgrading to an EV-ETX15SP based on the internet wisdom and brand bashing. No way. I miss that Behringer.
I had a Behringer B1800d passive subwoofer and it had alot of power more than what I needed so I now have an active Db15 opera and even that has some serious punch.
Should of got the EV ETX 18sp’s they are beast and even more beastly once you change out the woofers that come in them for stronger higher end woofers I did this and man I be shaking all kinds of venues when I gig!
Behringer makes good stuff, they aren’t as cheap as they once were so at higher prices you get what you pay for… that being said they still aren’t top pro level and you’ll start to notice small details that lack, like being ultra heavy vs the other options, not having an M20 pole can make 15s sitting on top wobble all over the place… stuff like that that matter to people making a living with stuff… but yeah for just making sound nothing wrong with them…

i am very impressed with mine B1800XP i use them for one year, and they are working animals. I have two of them, they have a very deep bass, especially when you play around with the frequency boost settings. which is especially interesting that their price is half of the others in comparison . In my opinion they are the best buy for the money.
Just got one of the JBL and I'm highly disappointed. It doesn't get anywhere near as loud as I expected out of it. 1 of my passive jrx125 is louder than it and cost half of its price
I would prefer controlling and setting up my system old school manually with control knobs on the back of an active unit and via a mixer panel, not by some silly Bluetooth app this is not what you call professional sound engineering.
Had a behringer crossover that died on me a few years ago. A retailer here told me they had a lot of issues including the speakers! Are they any better now

How did you put wheels on a plastic moulded speaker 😂

The Behringer is a beast its powerful but the EV has a sweet tighter punch. I own 2 EV at the moment

ts18s or behringer B1800XP???
Be good to see that jbl vs a mackie thump 118s. I think Mackie would slightly edge them all out!

How much power in rms does the B1800XP have?
400 wrms. However the Behringer has a better motor on the woofer than all of them. It’s way more efficient.
