When you say you hate tuna, do you mean the canned stuff or the actual planks of it.
@@thepieguyinthesky2363asking the real questions
Yes, i want more butthole clenching videos
Amazing idea poppt, i hope you get a lot of watch hours for this one.
No DkWill?
As a member of kilogram hours’ crew, him pulling out the hammer is commonly referred to as “whipping it out”
understandably so
Thats WILD man
Pause💀
Whip out his *duck* weapon
he's pulling his hammah out!
I appreciate all the comments of support 😭
Be on the look out for me at upcoming offline events like Saturday Stadium 3, Combo Breaker 2024, and Invincible VIII
Was super fun watching you!
youre cracked at ddd
@KilogramHours keep up the good work!
Dude you were amazing!
literally some of the best dedede gameplay ive seen well done
"Kinda disappointing the only King DDD they could find isn't even the best player in their state"
"Never mind, bro was smurfing."
He 5th in the state buts that cuz Iowa is underrated and rarely travels cuz nothing is close. I think our biggest tourney ever was a b tier and kilo couldn’t attend I believe.
@@dedlyquen3215bro Midwest is such a poverty region like Australia or EU cuz nothing gets tiered, meanwhile JP and tristate and New York and Florida/GA and SoCal and pnw get everything as a major
@@HenryZhoupokemon Australia is a poverty region? What do you mean by poverty region?
@@HenryZhoupokemonthat's because they're better
@@nevohyams yeah no shit they're better, but the ranking system still disproportionally rewards regions that have been established.
For example, if no one knew about MKLeo, Sparg0, sonix, miya, acola, etc. Beating them wouldn't count towards your ranking, even though they are the best players in the world
11:37 "Everyone in my state knows not to jump" LOL
It's the Iowa version of "might as well jump"
Pov Iowa high jumpers: welp, guess I'm ded
lmao. It's true tho XD
I’m from Iowa, can confirm.
Kilogramhours was the 8th seed, but nobody told him that.
As someone who has to play this dude at locals, Kilo’s Jet Hammers feel like they operate under a Domain Expansion.
People staring at Dedede’s jet hammer like Toji staring at Purple.
hi ensemble
Domain Expansion: Gourmet Race
Bro I had no idea Iowa had tournaments I wanna enter some but I don’t have any idea how or when
Kind of disappointed skyway didn’t go farther, but kilogramhours was playing super well
Maybe if it was game five he would have won but if that was the case we would have seen less KGH and that was fun because we always see Skyjay
He had to play that ddd on 🔥 first unfortunately maybe they will do another one again sometime
DDD is a rough matchup tbh
@@gizmoman2388 DDD is also bottom 3
@@gizmoman2388 is it? Why?
"It's been 9 months since Rickles last tournament. That's enough time to create an entire human."
So what you're saying is there's a Rickles Jr. somewhere in the world that we don't know about.
I wonder if rickles jr will look like ganon
@mayo6213 Nah I think Rickles is part Gerudo. The Gerudo only have males once every hundred or so years, so he probably had a baby girl 👶
Wasn’t that an amiibo he had?
Im sorry can someone explain the rickles lore💀💀💀
@@someguywithalowbudget1320
There once was a man named Rickles
He really did not like pickles
He wouldnt eat them at all
Would rather lick ball
They really did make him feel sickles
It’s probably for the best that he chose to not invite a Kazuya to this tournament
kazuya may have a high weight but that's where the similarities end lol
I was just thinking, "Isn't there another heavy in this game" and then I read this comment
@@RushWheelerRidley and rob
So the interesting thing about Kazuya is that he isn't a super heavyweight by the most commonly cited definition, which is a higher weight than sandbag's 115. He still gets lumped in for obvious reasons, he FEELS like a super heavyweight and nothing else, but he also has a weight of 113. So you can argue that Kazuya is technically not a valid character here. I'm kinda sad we never saw a solo charizard though.
@@classarank7youtubeherokeyb63woulda been cool to see Beast, but that's the only solo zard i can think of
“Do not get cheesed”
-LeoN
Leon has the most high level experience, he's been playing professional mind games and breaking down vulnerabilities for the longest of these players. Thats what i think made the difference, he was very VERY focused on getting underneath kiligramhours and made a lot of openings for himself by playing to his landing weakness. The other competitors struggled to exploit circumstantial weaknesses and create vulnerabilities to the same degree of effectiveness. It was really cool to watch the underdog take it to the very end. and it was even cooler to watch the run come down to very split second decisions stemming from a high level understanding that some top players can't make as well as others.
This is what this shit used to be all about. Main tourneys have recently been decided by systematic advantages that just can't be overcome with efficient split second decision making. Thanks for putting this on Poppt1, it was a lot of fun to watch!
Tbh he only won cause side b is op and kilogram kept going for meme hammer great match from both but one played to win and one played for the clip 🫡
Kilogram Hours needs to make an appearance on ‘best of every character’ on the Underdogs
they'll prob still invite atomsk or smth
This video is a KilogramHour long damn
I never watch competitive smash.... like ever. But gathering the best heavies in the world is a genius move from poppt as he's trying to grow the audience of competitive smash. These players have the same skill level of top players but don't have the lame play styles of characters such as sonic or Steve. These sets were fun exciting and got me to watch more competitive smash. GREAT VID POPPT!!! :)
Nah, they are worse than top players.
@raptormtg1289 some of them literally are too players lmao. Everyone in this tournament is insanely good and potentially top level
Skyjay in the lag is just a few frames behind on all his revenges for the gordos, you can see he jumps into them
The only heavy that gets nerfed online 😭
While watching this live I almost let out a huge gasp while my teacher was explaining stuff. I was watching it in the back of class I didn't want to miss it
As soon as Leon said "Ganondorf is scary" I just smiled
This video is so much more hype then normal tournaments, incredible job poppt
This is top-tier Smash. Heavies are playing the game the way it was meant to be played. Little or no combos, just neutral reads and mind games. 11/10, I hope this gets run again.
I get tired of fighting games that have combos (funny how hard it is to escape that kind of thing) because rather than relying on actual skill and the specific kit of your character or fighter to cover for you in a dynamic way and a wide set of circumstances, these mf’s who do combos just figure out who can stunlock other people to death the best.
Imagine if king of skill was the guest player the champion fights at the end of the tournament
Next Video: “I Held a Smash Tournament to Find The Best Time-Staller In The World” featuring Sonix, Chase, and 6 Steve mains 💀
Nobody gonna be able to watch a 9 hour video of nothing happening
spoilers:
as soon as Leon took the first stock in game 2 of grands, i said out loud "yeah he's not losing another one". he completely figured out KgH after just a single match of adaptation - that veteran experience really set him apart in this tournament. really great job to everyone who participated though
It would have been cool for there to be a surprise championship match against Hero, a Japanese player who’s currently ranked 47th in the world and the best Bowser in the entire world
KGHours doing all us Dededes proud
Don't be
There's dozens of us... DOZENS!
22:46 Jordan pronouncing Illinois completely wrong is hilarious

This video was absolutely insane. Every match was hype. Would love more of these types of videos.
We love kilogrammhours fuckin legend
How does bro not like tuna
Shut up
Because its ass
Smelly and weird
@@Poppt1 I agree

Leon: I don't wanna get cheesed
Also Leon: BOWSER SIDE B WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Damn. Not skyjay getting a dedede right off the bat. That's really unfortunate.
KGHrs built different
@@Seaofcider it's a really really hard MU for incin too but also kghrs is in fact built different
@@CrawYT KGHrs the GOAT 🔥
Watching this live was hella hype ngl. Would not mind another one of these types of tournaments
this is why we love poppt
You have to make these heavies only-tournaments a regular thing!
kilogramhours has got to be one of the most inspiring players ive ever seen. dude works a 9-5, plays in a tournament last minute with a character commonly regarded to be among the worst in the game, then puts on one of the most hype and creative gameplans i have EVER seen against some of the world's best. genuinely inspiring gameplay
Ever since the canned tuna incident on the pod, poppt has developed a hatred of tuna
After being in the same region as a good Dedede player for a while, I can confirm that Jet Hammer is a very underrated move.
Its too broken on wifi
@@MrJj-kw1qq It's even better offline because the Dedede player can release it on reaction. Gordo is even better on wifi though.
@@cullenhutchison6528 and the players can react faster to it offline too
24:40 chunky kong actually taught me this one in coaching but i havent seen him expand on it past the up-b so seeing him use it to kill is very cool.
Incredible video, wish I was there to watch the stream live. Only piece of feedback is I wish you asked more gameplay specific questions in the player interviews, and in general let them speak more as I think you accidentally cut them off a couple times. would have loved to hear more from these talented heavy bois 😃
Heavy characters are my favorite unrepresented characters. The fact you guys got this together is nothing but amazing.
And the best heavy in the world is...Hero from Japan! (Or Skyjay still, but wifi Dedede defeats all).
Really though, good stuff to LeoN.
Little Z: “AND HE SUCKED HIM UP OFFSTAGE”
Poppt: “That’s not what you want”
Little Z: “Then what DO you want??”
Poppt: “Uhhhhhh…”
I cannot 💀
Super cool tournament I'd love a Hero tournament tbh.
THANK YOU for actually host a FUN TOURNAMENT. Please do more like this!!! Lately I've been watching coinbox, but that streaming IT'S CHAOTIC AS HELL!!! whit the on-screen twitch chat/donations/subs, multi-screen/match ... Gimmi a break! You guys are a breath of fresh air! I love the idea of a Heavyweight exclusive tournament!!!
And great commentary!!!! I have to say
I feel like after you get rocked by Dedede Hammer once suddenly it feels like Mac's KO punch
So happy you posted this. I watched it live and WOW. One of the most entertaining videos in smash history. Please please please keep them coming. I would definitely donate and/or pay for more of these
Spectacular video and commentary from you and Little Z, definitely would love to see more of these!
I'm vibin with this video. You always got great stuff but I gotta compliment this lol. I like the concept, players in it, game play, commentary, and analysis. Crazy matches too!
What a great tournament. It's definitely the hypest i've watched in a while. You never knew how the game or the sets were gonna go.
This format was so much fun!!
I was excited for skyjay so the first game hurt, but kilogramhours had a great run
I like the combination of hype, analysis and general gameplan in the commentary :)
Maybe the format would also work with other categories, like super light characters or floaty characters.. I would watch it!
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Great job Little Z and Poppt1. This is one of my favorite videos on your channel Poppt1!
Kilogram Hours is absolutely goated holy crap
I really hope this puts him on the map for bigger tournaments
Really enjoyed this video TCnick3!
Thank you for organizing this tournament, Jordan! And thank you to all the players for an amazing show!
I'm so happy Leon won, I've been watching him and learning from his bowser for so long now, great to see all these heavies though, and KGHours was also REALLY good.
“Everyone in my state knows not to jump”. That’s some real legend shit.
Great video, really cool concept! I’d love to see more like it
Good stuff poppt! I would love more content like this!
Honestly great video. Super entertaining to see these characters and players.
THIS WAS SUCH A GREAT VID , your guys commentary was brilliant thanks so much for this it made my day
Most hype games I’ve seen in forever!!
Heart wrenching at the end though, everyone was cheering for the same person I bet
im so happy leon won as a bowser main i was rooting for him from the begining
The tournament I didn’t know I needed. Really cool idea to keep the game alive.
Could you do an ultimate melee where it’s just melee characters?
seeing you and zack as commentators made me smile the whole video, thank you guys.. much love
Absolutely banger Video...was a long time ago since I saw such hype gameplay.
Missed the stream, glad this is finally out!
Yoooo this tournament is sick, i unfortunately missed the stream when this was live
I feel like every time kilogram pulls out the hammer everyone of his opponents enter panic mode that’s part of the reason why skyjay lost he panicked when the hammer was pulled every time
Love the vid fun sets If you do another you gotta get a piranha plant because hes a funny character
I know these won't be very common because getting 8 people in different places is hard but this is one of my favorite videos and even though i don't like watching tournaments this was hype.
this type of content is so good from you jordan, love it!
AAAAAH this was so sick! Awesome tournament, characters, players, and of course commentary!
Ngl I've been putting off watching the tournament but DAMN I WAS MISSING OUT. This is easily the most hype tournament I've ever watched!!! KGH is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥
Never watched a full tournament before, and not watched a full set on competitive smash in over a year, but watched this whole thing in one go 😂😂😂
Damn. I would never watch a competitive tournament with top tier characters, but seeing this was just absolutely amazing. So many good moments.
Fantastic, heavies are so much fun to watch :)
Unsure why i like heavies so much, but i do. So this tourney is a perfect watch for me. Thanks guys for putting it on!
Also, every match feels a bit like an upset, which is also great lol
I love these non typically kinda tourneys. Maybe something like squad strike would also be awesome or even duo or 4v4 like go crazy
That was super Fun got my sub. Looking forward to more of this.
This is a goated video heavy only brackets should exist in other competitive events.
This tournament was so hype I could not look away! If only all Ultimate tournaments were this entertaining to watch.
what's the song that plays during game 3 of lukewarm vs major? I've heard it before but forgot what it's called or where it's from.
That tournament was SO HYPE KgHrs is such a chad lmao incredible. What a pleasure to watch.
leon the one who got me into maining bowser. in earlier games i mained pit, but over here i switched to bowser then joker dropped and he became my secondary. so happy bro clutched
This is a sick format id love to see more
I love this idea. Most interested in a tourney I have been in awhile!
I love all these players man I wish this was double elimination. They’re all so hype I want them all to win
This was un-ironically one of the most entertaining tournaments I've ever watched.
"Everyone knows it, everyone's played it" bro was making ABSOLUTE sure not to say everyone loves it 😂
Skyjay just wasn’t used to going up against other heavyweights, so he overextended without the fear of a big hit keeping his opponent at bay.
Absolutely loved this video!!! So much great content!
Poppt1 I think if you change the title of the video to sometime more eye catching like FINDING THE BEST HEAVY IN THE WORLD or something you might get more attention on this video. I loved the video so I hope other people see this on their feed from the UA-cam algorithm.
"not the suck you want"
"what's the one you want then?"
"Uhhhhhhh"
😂 Creased me!
Dang i feel like kilogramhour could've done some more mixups after the neutral b to launch leon off stage. I noticed every time he stepped back for a gordo and leon went around it every single time. Also i would have loved to see noodl and krule34 in this tournament
LOVE this idea, Jordan! Keep it up!
Haven't watched yet but I just wanted to put my prediction. This video isn't gonna be reflective of tier lists most likely. That's not a bad thing though, it's just something that's super neat.
The reason I think this is cause if competitive Pokémon and how which tier a Pokémon is sorted into is based on usage. A Pokémon that demonstrates this perfectly would be Gastrodon as it's typically niche and falls to the lower tiers but Gastrodon for the longest time has been the best way to keep Kyogre in check in the higher tiers and thus sees consistent usage in Ubers (the tier for legendaries and broken Pokémon) in many generations.
What I'm trying to get across is that a Pokémon can have every tool to succeed but whether or not they're viable depends onto the other Pokémon within the tier and how well they match up against them. Basically a heavy could be the worst heavy because they match up poorly into most of the meta, but in a format where you have only heavies they could be the best heavy since they match up well specifically into heavies.
Tl;dr something's environment and surrounding competitors can drastically change their viability.
Lmao "big words big combos" 😂
Great stuff guys
This was really fun! Maybe run a redemption one and do this again sometime?
This I can get behind. I'm not a big heavy player, but I suck at combos and seeing these lumbering beasts winning through good reaction speed and mind games is speaking to me.
8:40 as a incineroar main i felt that pain because alolan whip failes so often because of nothing
