THE THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
For the Cake:
3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 Teaspoon almond extract
1/4 Cup coconut milk
3/4 Cup self-rising flour
1/2 Cup sweetened shredded coconut
Decorations:
12 Waffle ice cream cones (or flat bottom ice cream cones)
Buttercream Frosting
2 Cups powdered sugar (to thicken frosting if needed)
3/4 Cup dark chocolate
Rainbow nonpareils
12 maraschino cherries

I love this tutorial! I also thought about making a hole for a filling inside the cupcake so when eating the rest of the cone, it won't only be cake batter but with some yummy sauce or frosting!
Metric conversions (rounded correct to the nearest 5g):
60g of butter
100g of granulated sugar
55g of coconut milk
95g of self raising flour
35g of shredded coconut
250g of icing sugar (powdered sugar in the UK and Europe)
120g of chocolate
Oven temperature: 175C
