Colin the frame has been done since summer. They grinded it down and took out all the rust, put the rims and tires on. The last memory I have of it m, it wasn’t even on the lift. I’m just curious what progress they have been making.

Hammer, to break all sensors and computers that reads them
Duct tape, to fix mistakes with the hammer
Bailing wire to tie the throttle all the way open
because its easy to turn off
bc the only cars that cant go into limp mode are soo old their body panels cost a shitton
Matt: research wether your Vette has an inertia switch. Sometimes in an accident if this switch is tripped it can shut off fuel pumps etc. Simple stuff first. Good luck!

For a c6, definitely wasnt a tactic. If it was as cheap as he makes it out to be, its very hard to find one with the driveline intact and unmodified.

the reduced power could be nothing, some GM cars when they get in a wreck, they get automatically put into limp mode so they dont get hurt any further if the vehicle is still running, just needs to be reset by scan tool.
That clicking sounded like the security alarm, with the horn disconnected. Might need a programmed key it doesn't have to run proper
It most likely an impact sensor of some sort. I've something like this before. You can replace it or get rid of it. The fun part it finding it.
KY SPORTSMAN often it’s a switch hidden in the trunk that just needs to be reset.

Order a Blue Driver for a scan tool. I love mine. Chrisfix sold me on getting one. The amount of stuff it can do is crazy. It can even give you recommended fixes for the specific code you specific car is throwing.

Matt-- I feel like I have to say this. I don’t want to hate on your vlog or anything. Wouldn’t the next 4 weeks be better spent on fixing the tractor your brother has? You can always do a burn out car in the future. I think it would mean a lot for both of you. He seems to be struggling a bit. I’m sure it would mean a lot to him. I’m sure it would be simpler then fixing that vette and not take whole lot of time. He indicated he has the parts. I know it might not be the most exciting or high energy video, but it would be a compassionate thing to do.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking this. Dudes brother is in his last months of life, and all this dude can think about is what kind of new toy he will buy today. He should have gathered up 5 or 6 buddies and had a tractor building party. That tractor is going to be around a lot longer than that junked out corvette.
I wonder how channels like this are so popular? People that already have so much, and yet everyday they have to buy something new in order to try and fill that empty spot. Wrecked corvettes, no matter how many, will not make your life any richer, but to help your dying brother fulfill his dream of rebuilding that tractor before he passes will stay with you forever. Could be the throttle position sensor. Hopefully it’s an easy fix.
Oliver Lane I have a 08 Silverado and the throttle position sensor code popped up and it ended up being the throttle body itself
Had that on my 2010 yukon. Spark plugs burn up as well on those motors.

Unhooking the battery for a couple minutes it will reset the computer, then when you go to start it turn the key on and wait for the gauges to go through their cycles and zero out before you start it.

PS, drop the K-frame, install the engine on the K-frame, and then reinstall the assembly.
Pull the aluminum wheels from the 2005 Corvette and put a set of steel wheels on the car. The Corvette wheels can be used on the older car or sold off the defer some on the cost on the burnout car.
