I remember my mother buying my daughter barbies dreamhouse for Christmas many years ago. I loved my barbie dolls as a child. She will never, ever grow old!
I am 68 and I remember loading up my Dream House in our VW Beetle as I visited my grandparents during summer vacation. The real one here is fantastic! Thank you.
I love Taiwan-made P.J. dolls. The body often has to be repaired at the hips and shoulders (and sometimes the neck) but it's so worth it. All of the Taiwan-made Malibu, Quick Curl, Sports Set and Gold Medal dolls have this issue, but are well worth the effort to repair. I couldn't help but notice that there are two examples of the 1972 fashion Party Lines fashion in the box. That's a very desirable outfit.

Rachel, Bradley Justice Yarbrough really knows a lot about Barbies and I have learned so much:)!! My first Barbie was the Malibu Barbie, but my Late Grandfather bought her for me, years after she was created:)!! I sadly no longer have her sunglasses and towel, but she is still dressed in her blue one piece bathing suit:)!! Of all these Barbies, I really LOVE the No. 5 Barbie from 1961 with the blonde hair and I also LOVE the Malibu P.J. with her beads in her hair:)!! However, Francine does have a nice reddish hair color:)!! However, my favorite Barbies are the ones from the 70s into the 80s:)!! Of my own Barbies, my favorite is my Kissing Barbie Doll and I have her original dress too:)!! However, as a Kid, I dressed her in Sergio Valente and Jordache Barbie Jeans:)!! I am so looking forward to seeing more Barbie Videos with You and Bradley Justice Yarbrough:)!!!

For stains, I've seen people use acne cream, cling wrap and the sun to lift stains. 1000 Splendid Dolls has an amazing tutorial on how to repair dolls and other tips on doll care.

You can use a product called Remove Zit to get rid of green ear. It takes a while but it really works. I have all of my Barbies from the 60’s. #6 ponytail Barbie, the first Ken, Midge, Allen, Skipper, Scooter & Ricky. They all have all their original outfits. The famous bathing suits. I have them all displayed in a case.
Our May doll club meeting I won a drawing and there were 3 old Barbies, THe first one I got was the first Ken doll in his cork sandals and red trunks & stripe red white terry lined jacket. He is mint except for 2 small spots were the velcro hair is gone. The 2nd is I think #5 dark haired Barbie in her red bathing suit but one earlobe cheek area has the greenish blue color. The 3rd Barbie is a bubble cut blonde in a labeled pink flower dress with matching sweater and she still has the blue earrings one of which has also turned her earlobe bluish green. Any value in these or should I just throw them in with my hundred other Barbies boxes?
