    Thanks for sharing all the techniques. I have a lot of dolls I need to get cleaned up, I’m always so scared that I’ll damage them. Thank you for showing me what needs to be done.

    Rachel, thank you for video part 2. You just said it in the introduction such an inspiration these videos with Linda are. I was lucky to acquire a German doll S & C at a estate sale last weekend and I used the cleaning tips from Linda, especially the soft scrub and now she looks wonderful after some TLC. It is so exciting to rescue a doll and take care of her. Such a great feeling!! Thank you again Rachel and Linda!

    Rachel, I so LOVE how Linda made June's dress with the floral trimming and I so LOVE those flower bows on her shoes:)!! My favorite feature besides the lovely job Linda did on June's dress, bonnet, and shoes is June's soulful eyes:)!! And on Stephanie's table, the Madame Alexander Doll on the purple towel resembles my Mom's Bridal Doll from the 1950s:)!! And I think it is totally awesome that Linda's Mom is 102 going on 103, God Bless her:)!! My Boyfriend's Late Grandma lived to be 101 and she LOVED collecting singing stuffed animals as well as she displayed a few Dolls during Christmas:)!!! I think Dolls and Teddy Bears give us all a young spirit of being fun loving:)!!! Rachel, thank you so much for this very fun and informative Doll repair video:)!! June is a stunningly pretty Tete Jumeau Doll ( and she does not look 135 years old)!!!

    Hi ladies love your videos and wow what a cute doll!
    Just another cleaning hint-- I am a doll doc in CO too...I love using Mr. clean erasers for cleaning dolls... I wet and squeeze out all the water...sometimes use a piece of it especially around eyes nose etc It works great! I ALWAYS TEST and start v gently.

    • @RachelHoffmanDolls
      @RachelHoffmanDolls  3 роки тому +1

      That is a great tip, we have heard good things about those erasers. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, Rachel! I am new here and I am loving the content. You guys are great! I often prefer to buy incomplete dolls or even damaged and without their original clothes because it gives me the freedom to work on them. It seems we enjoy more when we are creative and have to find solutions and fix problems than when we buy the perfect doll with the perfect outfit and hair and we feel afraid to even touch it. Now working with you in your shop is my dream job. Where do I apply?

      I wonder if you can order it on Amazon? I don't know an alternative, we found this out just trying it out so don't be afraid to carefully experiment.

    I love that Linda has hemostats in her toolkit, I have two pairs and use them ALL the time in my doll adventures.
    And shouldn't the Tête Jumeau's name be Jeanne?

    • @RachelHoffmanDolls

      Linda is always prepared! I am not sure what the current owner named her, the lady who bought her from us always names her dolls which is so sweet. Glad you enjoyed
