I love Hungry Girl and I've been a big fan for years! It's ridiculous that some of you have to be so hateful towards her. If you know anything about Lisa than you would know that she does not claim to be a nutritionist or doctor, she's just hungry and will find ways to swap ingredients to make our favorite treats a little healthier. She does not do Organic (which I would know why people would think that anyways) so bashing her for using everyday food is completely based out of ignorance!
People need to chill out, it's a tv show, it's not like she is telling you to eat and live the same way she chooses. If you don't like her or the way she cooks or the recipes she gives simply change the channel and watch something else. There is no rule or law that says only kids can have chocolate, believe it or not adults enjoy it too....people need to calm down and quit being so quick to judge others and not expect others to snap back....some off these recipes sound really good and as a busy
nope. she needs to be called out for promoting a paranoid, unhealthy diet. bitch is wack, none of her so-called recipes are good, and she obviously has an eating disorder.
@@kelbylee poeple take it to seriously they are concerned about this diet meanwhile I bet you there prolly doing a deit just as extreme as this like keto.... Deits are never the solution idc how amazing it sounds its all about a lifestyle change incorpating some of the things lisa makes into your lifetyle will not kill you as long as you balance it out with nutrious foods. Poeple are just so buttt sensative these days
I think I just puked in my mouth a little when she added fat-free whipped cream as an ingredient to her chocolate martini. These are things that the calorie-obsessed girls (who have veeeeryyy unhealthy attitudes towards food) at my college make. I am thin and am able to eat full fat chocolate desserts b/c I eat healthy most of the week and understand that you shouldn't be eating things like this every day.
@EbonySings4u My issue is with the food, not the commenters. Of course she is demonstrating low cal recipes- at the expense of sound nutrition. Most of these episodes would appeal to tweens. And yes, everything in the world is made of chemicals. However, some are good for us and some are not. Natural organic foods from the earth do not have added chemicals. A raw almond is a healthier snack than gunk in a cup nuked in a microwave could ever be. You get my point. Some folks just enjoy arguing.
@EbonySings4u You're correct. Her goal is money from sponsors. But you might check out why microwave ovens have been banned in Russia since 1976, or the effect of microwaves on water and other food for your own safety. It's your choice.
@hremaddox These recipes are aimed at kids and they feature concocted junk that tastes good and tallies a low calorie count, not relative to nutrition provided. That is serious stuff that leads girls who are already pressured to be thin into believing they can still enjoy the taste of food and remain thin by eating fake nothing on a fork. It is beyond time to get serious about nutrition and health which necessitates real healthy organic food. Cake can be healthy; just not out of a microwave.
Just made the Cake in a mug dessert. It is so good. I'm on weight watchers. So its good low points and low fat. :) Going to try some more of her recipes. Wish you was still on Food Network. Love your video's.
Why would anyone ask if organic is lower in fat and calories? Organic is higher in nutrition because it isn't grown with Big Agra's Roundup toxins, GMO scary stuff, and corporate farming practices that strip the land of nutrients. But anyone who really wants to eat microwaved chemical concoctions that imitate real food probably doesn't get the concept of nutrient rich real food anyway.
@EbonySings4u The comments you made sought me out and have been accusing, insulting, angry, and without much discussion of the issues. Congratulations on your weight loss!
@EbonySings4u "You sound stupid!" is neither discussing issues nor being polite. My issues are with the video, not the people who comment. Again, congratulations on your weight loss.
@SophiaMercy I eat organic foods and healthy food 90% of the time, but occassionally will have a piece of cake, etc. You sound like you SERIOUSLY need to lighten up!
@SophiaMercy Hunny. How is a chocolate martini aimed towards tweens? I would hope you wouldnt give your children chocolate martinis lol. This is not aimed towards kids and I bet you havent even looked into her other recepies and judged. All of her recepies are mostly free of trans fats, greases oils, high frutose corn syrup, and are low sodium and safe for diabetics. If thats junk then dont eat it, support her, or watch the episodes. Some of her recommended snacks are almonds and natural foods.
@SophiaMercy Accuse you of what? We were discussing the issues. Your issue was with her recepies containing chemicals when her goal isnt organic foods and calling her a nutrtionist when shes not one. Did you completely look over the fact that I stated that majority of the things we come in contact with contain chemicals? That her main audience is geared towards adults? That all of our food including those that claim to be organic have chemicals and preservatives? Your too sensititve! Thanks.
@SophiaMercy Funny you think that when if you pay attention to her episodes she block out the brand and doesnt show the labels for any of the products that she uses by either turning them around so you cant see it or putting something over it. She rarely even mentions brands in her episodes. I think you need to watch more hungry girl episodes before you judge her intentions and actual recipes. Its crazy how you watch an episode on chocolate and expect organic nutritious 100% natural recipes smh
@SophiaMercy Doesnt sound accusing to me?? lol "From your attitude I imagine you have been throwing it back for quite awhile." Doesn't sound very nice either.
@EbonySings4u So have you finally argued enough that you feel good about yourself? I wasn't impressed by what I saw of her recipes. I commented. It's called free speech. I don't have to be a fan to do it. If you like her stuff, make it and eat it. From your attitude I imagine you have been throwing it back for quite awhile.

That sounded like dan schneider!
Good ice, fresh ice, no lame ice allowed. Too funny.
gross. eat real food and you'll never have stupid cravings.

Wow... Low-cal, low-fat. Bet she doesn't check sugar contents or actual ingredients.
If you have internet tv. You will find her on cooking net

I think that she is trying to promote a healthier version of common recipes that you can eat while trying to watch your waistline.
