The best thrash metal song ever recorded! It has it all: a nice intro, terrific screams, addictive riffs, catchy drumming, and dueling guitar solos. I challenge anyone to find a better thrash metal song. You can't!

It's a damn good song and one of the finest that nobodies ever heard of sheetmetal!!! It ranks up there on the thrash charts dude. This will be the first song of Dark Angel I've ever heard by the way, but so far it sounds tight.

@lifeonmarss yeah, it is weird. Darkness Descends was an absolute sonic brain devourment when my friends and I got hold of cassette recordings back in 1987. The speed, guitar sound and the intelligent, lyrical quality was really something else. Dark Angel are one of the really great bands in the scene.

I think these guys didn’t get as big as I think they should’ve because of how old school they are (and several other bands like that too) because the way I see it, thrash metal is like beer. You don’t always like the taste when you take the first swig of your life but you really acquire a liking to it when you realise it makes you feel fucking awesome!

Yep. couldnt have said it better myself. The first four Metallica albums can peel your face off, after that, its starts down hill.
As for Dark Angel, without a doubt the premium best Thrash Band of all time. Not even Slayer can match them for their power, shrill screams and Musicianship.
