I have the longhorn. Got it at BJ's on a sale for $100 off reg price and I am very happy with it. I have had it for 4 years now and it's still looks almost brand new. I did order the cover and its stored outside.
@oklahomajoe But the real question is, when smoking, can you also utilize the gas side as it looks like there is a hole between that and the bigger charcoal so it would seem smoke would travel all the way?
My boyfriend just bought one from tractor supply and the first thing we are gonna grill on it is tomahawk steaks! We just need to get a grill cover for it.
@@bbmdesignsco.1049 there also isn’t a specific one for this grill. They have the one for the old model and it’s pre order. So we are just patiently waiting for ours to ship and hopefully it’s the correct one.
I was about to pull the trigger on Oklahoma Joe's Canyon grill at Lowes. HOWEVER, I cancelled the order over what some may think is petty. If I can't get a grill cover from ANYONE, even at Ok Joes website, they are on backorder, then I don't want to invest in your product. New model/grill and no one in production thought, "gee, lets make sure accessories are available". Maybe that was a saving grace and I went back and got a napoleon instead.
@@Pwn3dbyth3n00b I have owned multiple grills in the last 30 years. I have never used the side burner on any grill that had one. I looked at both the longhorn and this one. I bought this one for many reasons. They’re the same size and this one was $200 less.
@@Pwn3dbyth3n00b i actually use my side burner for things like beans or putting my cast iron on ot for fajita onions and peppers. Now they replaced a dual function feature (burner/shelf) with a single function shelf. 🤦♂️
Grill during the weeknights to feed the fam, smoker on the weekends to feed myself 😅

what do you grab when you move it, that shelf will break if you use that to lift up
Can you put a link to purchase this in the description please. I’d like to buy one
Me too!
Can google not find it?!
What’s the overall width?
you need more canyon videos. all you have is just this one
Do you have a link to buy a cover? Home Depot and others have a general universal one, but people say it isn’t a great fit. I want the right one
Below is the link for the Canyon Combo Charcoal/Gas Smoker & Grill cover.

Great video. I am in the market for a new smoker and I want a combo grill/smoker.

Awesome - enjoy 🤠 🥩
Yes, why the grill cover options for this one is more expensive than the others?

The pricing is based on the size needed to cover and protect the grill.
@@OklahomaJoesSmokers If that would be the case... why the longhorn combo grill cover ( wider and bigger ) is cheaper than the canyon?
the wheels should be where the propane tank is, that would be super heavy to move to have to lift the side with propane tank

You took the Longhorn, cheapened and thinned the metal/materials and are charging more for it.
How thick is the metal ?
Thiccc

Anyone make a charcoal wood pellet smoker. That is what I'm looking for.
So am I, did you end up finding one?
So they downgraded it and made it more expensive than the Longhorn Combo....
It's better lol
Remove the burner most people used to light the wood/charcoal for the smoker? Replace solid metal wheels for plastic and rubber?

@@Pwn3dbyth3n00b, wheels are metal with hard rubber tire
