      @@DrEDUCATION Focusing on a low glycemic index diet, while ignoring the other qualities of a food, is also hazardous because the easiest way to decrease the blood sugar response (the GI) to dietary carbohydrate is to consume more protein and fat-the predominant ingredients in meat, poultry, eggs, and cheese. As you know well, these foods are well established to damage your arteries, bones, and kidneys-leading to heart attacks, strokes, osteoporosis, kidney stones, kidney failure, and cancer.
