Edit: Yes, I can see both sides. One side is that they're disrespecting veterans and the country, but this is my side. Of course, I don't know how it feels to be a veteran and look at this, but I can only go off of reports etc. I feel like when they see this they don't care. They fought for this mans right to protest racial injustice. THIS is what they fought for. Freedom. Was it the wrong guy? Yes, Kaepernick wasn't the best guy to start it. But was the protest actually bad? In my belief, no. Nothing had been done no matter how many protests they did. Something had to change. Just imagine being a black man for a second.
