Guys the octopus isn’t alive, an octopuses nervous system reacts to things way different to humans, for that when the tentacles are separated from the body the nervous system is still triggered which makes the tentacles move

For the people unfamiliar with this. It isn't alive, it's just that the nerves are still active, meaning they'll continue moving but it won't feel anything, but you have to be careful and chew quite a lot to make sure it's all stopped so that the the suctions(?) don't grab onto the inside of your mouth which can be dangerous especially if you swallow too quick, it can stop your breathing.
It's is not alive just because it is moving, it is just raw!

Octopus tentacles have neurons in them.. the same cells that are in brains.. allowing them to act independently if needed.. therefore even if the animal is indeed dead the neurons in the tentacles allow them to react to stimuli.. hence the moving.. but this is not animal cruelty as the octopus is literally dead.

You're not wrong for the first part. But, in order for the tentacles to still be moving like this when she films it, she has to chop the octopus while the octopus is still alive. I've seen clips of people preparing this dish. The octopus was trying to run away from the chopping board while the person was cutting its limbs piece by piece.
If the octopus was dead when they chopped it, nothing would move and the eating would not be ... interesting (!?!)
