I have had mine about a year. Traded out of a Deluxe reverb and could not be happier! From bedroom level to giging levels. From country to AC/DC to Zeppelin just gets it done. Takes pedal so well. As far as my needs this amp is a 10 !
Wicked swiss army knife amp that loves pedals. I had the reverb version, 2x12 Combo, so quite a hefty boi. Traded it in towards a Z Wreck , but nothing but good to say about the Maz 18
Nice video man. I’ve got the Mk2 NR head as well. You did a great job explaining the way it is both super articulate with great detail in the notes but when on the edge of breakup also full with harmonic information at the same time. You probably noticed how well it cleans up and retains clarity when you roll back on volume knob a bit. Killer amp
Sounds great. There's a google doc that compiled user settings; amazing how many ways the amp can be EQed. Lately I've been using "vintage tweed": Vol, Treble, Mids, Bass all maxed. Cut and Master lowish. I use low input with a BP-1W clean boost.
Definitely manageable. The amp sounds good with the master volume set to bedroom levels. Of course things really sound amazing when you get those power amp tubes cooking though. I don’t know what your home situation is but your neighbors will definitely hear it at those higher levels, but it won’t be anything to complain about during the normal hours of the day.
Great demo, and excellent explanation, you really describe the amp with words just as well as you did with the sound samples!
Thank you! I’m a fan.

@@VintageRadius thank you. And yeah, you’re exactly right.
Sweet setup, they are so versatile......rock, blues, country, bedroom to stage all covered with one amp.
Thanks for watching!

Nice job! Great amp!
Thank you, Kevin!
Congrats on the amp. Been a Z'r for almost 20 years. Maz38NR and a Carmen Ghia 1x12.
@@paulg1897 they really are great
Had a 2x10 Maz 18 for many years when I was gigging. Perfect amp. I miss it but I rarely play with drummers now so it became a little too loud for me.
@@BounceChord I don’t know about the original but the mkii sounds great at low volume too
@@schecterc1h I think if I had originally bought a 1x12 it would’ve been a keeper but the tens were so punchy.
Dig the video!!
@@okaytastic6691 thanks!
So fucking versatile
Have tried the new Bad Cat amps?
@@MarkStearle-w1m I have not, they seem like something I’d like though. Have you?
@@schecterc1h yes,I almost bought the Cub model,I thought it sounded great
@ Good to know! The stuff I’ve seen on them sounded great.
Is it manageable as a home amp, or do you need to use some sort of attenuator?

Hey man! Is your T-63 ash or alder?
Ooo I believe it’s alder…
