Check out my Coleman Minibike!! amzn.to/3geGWgp
I think you’ll be seeing more of my dad in the videos of this car! 😆
Nick if I were you I would switch to the flat center caps or if you keep the ones on it make sure to buy the locks for them. People love to walk off with those center caps if you know what mean.
GuitarmageddonZL1 Great Video I'm glad you let your Dad drive your 69 Camaro and it would be great to see him in one
@@lilquad5331 * camaro. All 69 camaros are 51 years old..🤷♂️
GuitarmageddonZL1 like father like son!!
You should do a dyno video, just to see what the 454 puts down for torque!
Got me on that one, I totally thought you were giving your dad the car!
FastFail clickbait a little. Still awesome though
Same
Same
Me too
me too
You could tell by the smile on Nick's dad's face that he loves the car
and here I thought he was gonna give the car to his dad .. lol
EDIT 2/21/20 - Where in my original statement did I bash Nick about NOT giving the car to his dad? The context of my comment was, given the title, I thought he was giving it to his dad. He didn't, oh well, go on about my day. All these keyboard warriors that replied on my comment need to get a grip.
Scott He should have!
Agreed I thought he gave his dad my dream car, I mean his dream car. Some day I’ll own one, my dad passed in 2013 but I’ll be damn sure when he’s ready my son will get mine. Really disappointed in this vid thought it was totally gonna be different... smh
He's not that good of a son but he should've. I wish my dad was still here I'd give anything for that
bustin yanutz amen to that my dads been gone 9 years ide do anything to give him his dream car if I had the means like this tool does
Same here brother.
Shes so right they are sounds we just don’t hear anymore, crazy how the times have changed.
They don’t have to change though. Gotta keep those classics alive.
Like that old school starter 👍
This video made me miss my old man, hes been gone a few years now, My dads car that he wished he never sold was a 1969 GTO.
I hear ya bro lost my dad in 2016 I'd give anything to spend another day with him
I miss my old man 2
Me too.
This is a great father and son memory ✌❤
Enjoy them memories brother my dad passed 4yrs ago he was where my love for cars bikes all toys came from just a old blue collar man who worked hard to play harder I miss him
R.I.P for him
Cherish these moment man! My father passed away in 2011 an the relationship you an your dad has is what my father an I had! He was in the process of buying a 67 corvette split window but cancer got the best of him seeing your dads smile is so awesome an so rewarding nick! Love the content as always an cherish the little things in life.
I as waiting for the "here dad she's yours" still awesome that your willing to share it with him so cool.
Can't beat that, having a father to share moments like that with are second to none.
Last time I was this early Mike and Nick were doing a video together. Love you Nick ❤️
Baum Squad UA-cam subs are never happy huh lol. I thought the video was fine.
Man
Heart felt taking time to include your dad and knowing how meaningful this car is to him
Your dad had a flash back after seeing it. He said “ man those days”.
Nick, make sure you use pure gas, non ethanol for it. I switched to pure gas for my 72 454 corvette and it runs so much better. Plus it wont eat up the rubber fuel lines. Also use zddp max additive in the oil every oil change.
Your dad kinda looks like Stan Lee
awesome video nick! Love seeing you folks in videos. I bet you dad would have a blast cruising to car shows in that with you.
That’s awesome that you’re sharing the camaro with your dad, really awesome gesture. Happy for you and your dad, you guys both deserve it
How’s it awesome when he said he was buying it for his dad and goes through all that just to say hey it’s ours pop
This!
Your dad's smile and happyness is worth everything in the video.
Love the Camaro, it was really nice to see your Father on the video talking about his Camaro. I can't wait to see your Father in the videos with the New Camaro. Congratulations!
Congratulations Nick, Can wait to see you and your dad make some memories. Gotta get him some more videos. Keep up the great work!!!!
Such a good son, letting Dad take the car when he wants. Golden!!!
Awesome video with your dad Nick I promise you in years to come you will cherish this video very much. Your dad is cool definitely would like to see more of him in the future love all your videos always watching
Thanks Kyle for helping them out.. also thank you for what you do
That's cool to hear your mom mention the sound of the key in the trunk lock. It really is a unique sound if you ever had a 60s car.
AWESOME CAR NICK !
I'm with Vlad, '78-'81 Camaro Z28!
I like the 70-72 2nd gens. Just have always liked the front and rear on them more. But I'm not against the facelift 2nd gens!
Heck yeah Awesome video!!! I could tell your dad was excited. I look forward to more videos with your dad in the future. Love your mom she is awesome too!!!
That's awesome, Let your dad and Lauren drag race it!
😎🇺🇸👍 Awesome video man you took your Dad back in time you could tell he was loving it 🔥✌️
One of my all time favorites too. Love it!
Can't wait for the build start
I think you made your dad feel like a kid again his reaction was so cool!
Your parents see real cool and good people. You should just give the car to your dad.
I am so glad you bought this car. Old +new = awesome!
Great video. Your Dad was very happy.
Hey Give your dad a Hug! and keep the memories. I own the last car me and my dad and me and my mom had a drive in. My 1986 Trans am, and for me it is more of a way to hold on to some of our past. My dad an I last sat in it together in 97... my mom last sat in it in 2007 since I have yet to fix the accident she did to it. Gas peddle mistaken as a break. pushed my Trans am into the garage, but the door was closed... on day I will rebuild her. the car. as sold the house and garage. So remember hold your parents near your heart. Share some memories.
now we both have our Dad's cars gotta get some classic action once it drys up a bit
@4:51 I was thinking the exact same thing when she said that, even though I'm only 33 I was thinking this car sounds "metal-metal" lol
Officer Kyle is with the New York State Park Police. I recognize the decals as I work as a park ranger with them during summer season. There is a merger that is happening with the state police so he will probably become a trooper soon enough, lol. They're good people.
Your dad is a nice man .The Camaro is stunning.
Awesome!! I have to admit, i got a little emotional when you said, "it our car so you can drive it whenever you want" that's really Awesome Nick!! my son says all the time, "Dad if you don't get your hellcat, ill get you one when i get older" i don't care if that or expect that to ever happen. but i still get chocked up when they say it. so i can only imagine how he felt hearing that.
2:38 into this video and I can already hit the like button because Vlad is my brother from another mother! Basically what I mean by that is, he is buying a 1979 Z28 and that's what I'm wanting to do in memory of my mother!
I've considered doing a ls swap in my 78 c10.. I think I'll stay old school.. it's soo awsome
Aw man!!! Ya'll were on long island, better yet 20 mins away from where i live. Im sad i wasn't home to at least see your truck go by. Also the nice cop is a park ranger because of the green stripe going down the side of the tahoe. Cant wait to see more videos of the first gen, very beautiful car!!
It's way cool that your sharing that car with your Dad! 👍😎
You're a good man, Nick.
That was a great video, very heartwarming. Seems like a cool guy, cool dad
Your dad's awesome dude you can just see the excitement awesome video
That carb' looking fuel injection thing is called a Holley throttle body. and they do increase power and get you better fuel mileage.
That is a very special moment between a father and son... It actually brought tears to my eyes and does right now
Awesome I figured that would be the next video on the 1969 Camaro SS, was to bring it to your parents and have your Dad drive it around. I even mentioned it on your Facebook post and you liked it. No one can say that you don't have a family car (now 3 including the Blazer and Silverado, but they are a crossover and truck respectively). I am looking forward to more content with your classic dream car, including your Dad and Mom being in more of those videos.
Nick that car is awesome and it’s cool how it brought back memories for your dad
Nice, In 74 I bought a 68 Z/28, and a friend of mine owns it now. In 75 I bought a 71 Z28, then in 77 I ordered my 1st new car, a 77 Z28, then ordered a 78 then 80 Z28. Then in ‘81 bought a 70 Z28 from the orig owner and still have it. All were 4 speeds.
Father son bonding. Glad you found your dream car.
The guitars just made this video AWESOME!
I wish my dad was this around. He owed a 1971 Camaro.
That's awesome brother! Can't wait to see it in person.
Nick your Dad saying it's been 50 years was a great line
amazing car man love your dads reaction you can clearly tell he loves it
I would heavily recommend the long tube headers with an x pipe and flow master super 44s, thats what i run on my 72 C20 with a sbc 350 and it sunds a lot more like a 427 then a 350
I was subscribed to, and watched your videos faithfully for a long time Nick. Then you pulled that stunt on Andy, and I lost every ounce of respect for you. I haven't watched you since. For some reason, this video popped up in my recommended videos. I saw that you were giving a beautiful 69 Camaro to your dad, and I thought, This is super cool of Nick to do this for his dad! So I watched it, because I love when people make a sacrifice like this for their parents! Then at the endñ we see you did not in any way shape or form buy this car for your dad! You just bought it for your self, and basically said, (Hey dad. I bought your dream car! I brought it over here to show it off, and rub it in your face! Oh yeah, you can come over and drive it if you want.) You done absolutely nothing that any of us regular Joe's can't do for our parents! Then to top it off, you bait people to watch it with that title. Knowing that alot of people love that kind of video, and will click on it. You are the same old self centered Nick that you have always been! That's exactly why your subscriber numbers have hardly budged since I last watched your videos a long time ago. You're getting a little too old for this. Time to grow up, and leave your douchey ways behind. Because you are still registering extremely high on the douche meter! So be a man, and hand that title over to your dad, like your description implies! I know he deserves it for having to deal with you your entire life. Sad thing is, he seems like a super great guy!
Bryan Wayne And to think Street Speed 717 got this douche bag started in the UA-cam world LOL
6:48 looks for the seatbelt then realized it’s not there😂😂
Give it to him man! Hype in up in videos and get your views then give it to him
My dads got a 68 ford fairlane and
It’s got the gas tank behind the license plate too and I like it there so much, wish they still put the tanks in the rear or at least the input to the tank and have a line run down to the actual tank. 😩
you should get classic air cleaner sticker that says either 396/425 hp or 427/425 hp for a period look
also the Holley Sniper EFI is a great idea
How sweet. He really got emotional, you can tell.
I like this Camaro, My dad has 2 Camaros. He has an original 1969 z/28 Camaro all stock number matching phantom green. He has another SS camaro he is rebuilding and converting to RS and everything power
Beautiful car brother
Haven’t been on UA-cam in awhile! Was wondering where you were at so decided to check in glad to see when I checked in you finally got it been watching you since the freedom rocket was stock man!
Wow what a great son you are to you're father by showing him his dream car (the beautiful red 69 Camaro). Keep up the good work brother.
CJ Colvin totally kicked his own dad in the nads
@@lambchopLSX87 Yep.
I’m about to unsubscribe to be honest. What a tool move
@@lambchopLSX87 What do you mean.
Sarcasm is great
I love it my boy nick keep up the work and love video 💯💯💯💯💯
Man You should give your dad that car. I know I would if i could give him back his dream car! Just me though.
You and your dad need matching camaros together and go on joy rides
You should get custom headers so that you can have headers that clear the steering box.
You look just like your dad , awesome,
Your parents are awesome Nick, and so is the ‘69! Good stuff
Congratulations, that’s a great car.
Very special video! What i would give to go rip the street with my old man one more time
I 'm a lifetime Harrisburg local born in 1950. I've been into cars all of my life. I did my share of street racing in the late '60's and early 70's in the Burg. I was wondering if I may have crossed paths with your Dad back in the day. What color was his Camaro? I had a pretty fast '68 GTO, copper, black top with Cragers. A good friend of mine had a '69 Camaro with the 396/375. in dark green, Cragers and Hooker side mount exhaust. The think looked wicked and was stuped fast. I do
have a bunch of street racing stories. I always love the '69 Camaro. I had an opportunity to buy a new '69 Z28 but passed on it. It was $3700.00 and change on the sticker. I would like to have that day back. I'm still car crazy after all these years. Have fun with your new toy!
What a beautiful car! Congratulations bro! You should play your guitars a little more in the vlog.
Very Cool ...That's what it's all about!
Great video great family I love it. Cheers
For everyone who is upset that Nick didn’t give the car to his dad, I can tell you that he is far more excited to see his son own a car just like he had. If he truly wanted to own another ‘69 Camaro we would have bought one ourselves. They have talked about Nick getting one of these for years and he was excited and surprised to see his son’s dream come true. That was the point of the title.
Holley sniper is a must, get rid of the crappy carbs
That’s awesome bro. I’m happy for you and your family
Wow! Love this video thank you. It’s filled me with few lies for the day and now my day has been made.
Even the thumbnail portrays it like you’re giving him the car lol. I wouldnt have taken the time lol.
Awesome Camaro Nick! I have a ‘69 Nova SS that was a 396 ci car now has a 540 ci Stroker Big Block with a 4-Speed. I Iove the old Classic Cars!
Cool video nick. Isnt it cool how the cars our parents had became what we want so bad?i grew up with a 1964 Corvette Sting Ray and a 70 mustang. Im still dreaming about that Sting Ray, i have since i was about 5 yrs old.Thats 40 years ago. My uncle had a 70 chevelle ss 396. Id love to own one of those too....congratulations!!
That’s a sweet ass guitar collection!!!
Thumbs up to Kyle and your dad be the one driving that car to strip and shows and you take 5th gen
Bro the struggle is real driving thru New York. I had to drive to long island to pick up a car and learned the hard way that you cant have a trailer on any "parkway" in the state. NY sucks. No guns, no trailers, no fun. But for whatever reason they have good classic muscle
You Dad looks really happy 👍
Driving a classic car with a big smile and going 100 mph that fuel gauge wouldn’t matter🤤🤤🤤
Can't wait to see the dyno video. You should dyno it at every mod.
Incredible video Nick! My first Camaro was a '79 Z/28 I bought in '85 when I was in college. I didn't care that it was stock and puny on horsepower, it was mine and incredible! (BTW - it was red as is my current '14 2SS) I'd love to buy another one but today all of them are either junked up rollers for $5k or they've already been restored and are going for $20k+.
Looking forward to lots of videos on your classic!
Thought you were giving it to him. That would have been epic son gives dad his Camaro back.
You guys were on Long Island in NY. Crazy....
In 1970 Sunoco 260 was 102 octane with lots of LEAD!! In my opinion you need to keep Dad front and center on this car!!
