My favourite part was the reverse decapitation at 04:38 Thanks for the shoutout. Awesome to see what a real animator can do with it! Lots of little touches I'd never have thought of
Nice vid Joe! I use this plugin to animate a little Vtuber avatar for streaming. The animation is basically just going up and down but it looks good enough. Your video explains more of the features and maybe I will come back to this one day to update my guy.
Amazing video, 100% underrated your videos have allways been really sick I think anyone who makes content graphics or whatever should gass up your channel. Thank you and mort for both being entertaining
THANK YOU soooo much for this I did something different with it , but your video helped me achieve the exact effect I have spent hours trying to figure out how to do .. Thank you again
Really well explained Joe! Cracking job! I love how you can set certain images to trigger using the various thresholds in OBS and effectively precomping within OBS to give each part of the character it's own flair making it really life like.
Filmcow did a behind the scenes stream of his animations where he covered animating mouths and talks about what are good shapes for certain sounds. I found it interesting and would go hand in hand with this
Can you please make a detailed step-by-step of all the little things you did to animate the mouth movements, etc. with the layers and groupings? Like very detailed, click-by-click, because sometimes i'm encountering problems like it doesn't let me create a scene in sources unless it's already in 'scenes' or problems like that. I keep getting things not attaching or the mouth appearances aren't correlating with the threshold or it's not hiding the default mouth when the volume increases. I did the enable over disable under, but it's still not getting the same effect you got :( would really appreciate it if you could since I've been hand animating the mouth movements to the audio and this seems like it'd be a game-changer for me.
After Basic Setup you go straight o Transform section ! missing is how did you add the character PNG files / in what section you added them / how you got the character to show up!
I have OBS StreamElements folder, and a regular OBS folder. I used the plugin installer from the plugin page, and installed it in the regular OBS folder but that didn't work. Each time I re-insatlled it, the Installation wizard, auto-picked the OBS StreamElements folder. I tried that one and it worked. I have the Audio Filter option now. Install it where the wizard auto picks that might work for you if you have multiple locations. Make sure OBS is running in Normal Mode, NOT Safe Mode.

I know the video description says "focus on what you can achieve with the Audio Move filter", but I think the "Base Setup" part of the video needs some more instructions. For example, I didn't know how to connect an image with the Audio Move filter. I manged to get the settings setup after a little while.
Sorry if the question is off topic I often saw artist streamers making animations with their mascot, which moved its hand when the artist moved his mouse or stylus. Please tell me how to do this

2:08 "scale" is written "sacle" in the audio filters, how odd
❤❤❤❤
where did you get the images for character animation? and how did you loaded them into OBS? Sry I am a newb
I don't get the grouping part, it won't let me put a scene inside a source.
Nevermind, i figured it out. Thanks for the tutorial, it helped a LOT.

Is it possible to do this with multiple speakers? Can it be rigged to function on different avatars as different people speak?

Hi, noob here... I don't seem have any filters available within Audio Move, are these separate? Do I need to install these from somewhere else?

anyone found a version for newer OBS ? still has that comment : If you're using OBS version 27, you need to download version 2.6.1 or lower.
