Singer 2018 is the second season of Chinese television series Singer, a rebranded version of I Am a Singer that will air on Hunan Television. It is produced by Hong Tao, and its music director is Hong Kong senior musician Kubert Leung.

I'm a Chinese, to be honest, you would not think there is a foreigner singing if you don't look at the picture, her singing not just has very accurate pronunciation but also with very emotional expressions. Her performance is better than many native singers. She is a talent.

Jessie J is definitely the most beautiful voice among the contestant and it's a given that she is the most popular among them. BUT DAMN! WHAT KZ DID EVERY PERFORMANCE IS WAY BETTER THAN ANY THING THEY DID. FROM ROCK BALLAD JAZZ REGAE AND EVEN LEARNING OTHER LANGUAGE IN A SMALL SPAN OF TIME IS INSANE. Big thanks also to the Chinese people for letting our little star shine in your midst, we have our differences but I'm glad we could just put it aside and enjoy something together.
It's amazing how Filipino singers sing in other languages fluently with perfect pronunciation and still evoke the deepest of emotions. Truly naturally Blessed talented performers.

This song was requested by my classmates to our prof when were having mandarin class and our prof searched it on yt and made the whole class listen to it. And on that very moment this song was playing, I became very hooked because of how KZ sang the song soulfully. And from then on, it became my go-to song when I am sad. I've also watched this video many times because I love how KZ stirred the emotions of the Chinese people and brought most of them to tears knowing that they understand the lyrics better and KZ did conveyed it effectively by singing the song with so much emotions. Arghhh, I love KZ so much and in this kinda moment I am proud to say that I share the same race with her. 🇵🇭💞

But recently this video appeared again and I am once again so amazed by her, especially at the build up to 爱过我你很值得 at 5:15. It is depicted so well and beautifully sang. came back here in 2024 and still hits different, Kz Tandingan, you sang this like you are in their shoes, you picked a song that they would understand and relate to. You are smart, considerate, and you love these people to understand you, you blend yourself to them, you are not just a performer or a singer, but an artist itself singing with emotions and beautifully brought to them the pain and grief, you brought justice.

2023 I'm still listening to this when I'm feeling down and I don't even know the lyrics, the amount of emotions which KZ showed while singing this song makes me want to cry for no reason.
Many not know that this is not Kz's supposed voice, she's naturally gifted as high belter. But due to a disease(i forgot probably on throat). The doctor said she cant sing anymore, but KZ never gave up and she changed the way she sing, like this, to accomodate what can she do now
