Cornette is crazy. He has house show records, places that they went, and even fines from over 30 years ago. Plus, it's crazy how he remembers even the small details of things from so long ago. I can't remember 5 months ago.

    • @brainrunnethout

Joseph Delledonne He probably recorded it all. He seems pretty anal about that shit.

He sure did record everything...but he did it pen to paper and not anally. I'm kidding, but that does sound like something Bruce Pritchard would accuse him of.

Probably has a little bit to do with him being such a square. He has never been a heavy drinker, nor has he ever been a drug addict. Plus, he probably has a steel trap when it comes to memories, and to top it all off, he has dozens of journals from when he was a photographer, all the way up until the 2000s.

Wrestling reminds me a lot of the Ironworkers. Very elite, select group of mostly men. A job that separates the men from boys, pulls a tad of attention from the opposite sex, has a bit of danger, and Ironworkers have endless stories just like wrestlers.
My experience hanging off buildings is prob the closest I'll get to some sort of elite brotherhood like what pro wrestling is, or especially was back in the territory days.

Being older I have respect for the management style of Watts. He was tough but fair. You went to work to work you wouldn’t have an issue. Cowboy Bill Watts if you paid attention gave an education about the wrestling business and how to excel.

    •  5 років тому +1

No it would not. first Watts only liked a few wrestling styles and had a major problem with high flyers. He favored Terry Taylor over Chris Adams.

Tony G naw. Watts was a dinosaur. Great mind by 70s standards, but the world was passing him by in the 80s. His embarrassing run in 1992 cements this

    •  4 роки тому

@MemphoWrasslin1 Taylor was a jobber. Adams was a major talent. As far as other people who didn't like Watts how about Flair,Arn,Barry windham
Watts did not like high flyers among other styles, he actually banned off the top rope during his few months at WCW. Oh and he pushed his no talent son down the fans throats.

@chrisb3976: Uh Rock and Roll comes to mind. Not the Express the Industry. Parts of the Civil War itself could have taken a page from Don vs. Phil Everly. Perhaps all of Music. David Ruffin was essentially bounced from The Temptations. C&W's late Naomi and Her Daughter Wynonna Judd could be quite frosty toward one another at times. George Jones and Miss Tammy Wynette endured twice over what could only be described as a downhome Danse Macabre. Then you have the Gallaghers of Oasis. Or Lindsay Buckingham throwing a 🤬ing Guitar ONSTAGE LIVE at Miss Stevie Nicks!🤦‍♂️There are Bandmates of Legendary Groups who to this day refuse even to speak to each other and it's only been what Five maybe Six Decades. Pro Wrestling is "The Kumbaya Network" compared to that.😂😉🎤🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️🎼🎵🎶🎸🎹🎷🥁B.W.
