Take my advice with a grain of salt because I dont have any pvp curses but as a brig helm main, i find stow bucketing allows me to keep down 4-5 tier 3s solo and i dont rep nearly as much. As a helm i always try to let my flex stay up for as long as possible. I feel that this way, were able to put way more pressure and we commonly find ourselves with 2 on cannons vs our oponents with 1 cannon. Again im nit as experienced as you but thats just my 2 bits. Great video
imo you only need flex at the starting broad to help open quick and afterwards mc can take care of everything else, flex shouldn't need to shoot more than 10-30 cannons, just send him to board or use him to recover quicker so you can double board, in this case were all 3 not brig players so we werent opening as much, if we had a main brig mc game would've been very different. I'm pretty sure you're stacking pressure and if your opponents focus pocket for a couple seconds you'd backsplash a lot or get balled, you always need to keep the water low so you can adapt to any situation, if your teammate gets balled you have time to res and fight boarder, if they send early and you kill you can always send counter and have helm shooting quickly after, etc. I don't see why helm shouldn't perma patch and use flex for recovery @Prizzz
@@snowysot i suppose that's fair. Me and my usual flex are both somewhat new to the game so we may have adapted to putting pressure in a different way. I usually only tell him to go over if we're nearly sealed (essentially only sending him if I can immediately take over cannons/snipe) this results in longer games sometimes but I feel it's more fun that way. I'll try to use your strategy because my flex is a crack fiend for boarding so maybe he'll like it too. Whenever our opponents are punching pocket and my flex is on board I call him down and let him worry about it and just rep💀
Usually if you're fighting a decent crew their mc will never get off cannons so you'll never be full sealed unless you send boarders to keep him occupied, most of the time I'll let flex go and if I need I'll ask mc to take 1-2 buckets to keep water low while I perma patch, then I'll double board and leave him with a few holes

As a flex, make sure to remind your flex to take a bucket or two before he boards and dump it on them because I forget a lot
