@@lizabeth4453 Nope, I'm from Seattle but I've been in NYC, Chicago, Denver, White Fish Montana in December and January and nothing is open at 2 am especially if it is minus 16! Remember it was 2 am and 16 below!
@@markrobertdevison1227 yeah dude, the temperature doesn't affect whether something is open or not up here. I'm in MPLS and plenty of things are open at 2 AM no matter what the temp. Subway is not one of them however..

First off, fuck him for causing damage to people who are actual victims of hate crimes. Second, I don’t really worry about celebrities or anyone that is that much higher up in the tax bracket than me. I worry about my neighbors and the struggles of people trying live. I don’t worry about rich people and their problems.

I didn't know any Subways were open at 2 o'clock in the morning.
Some SUBWAY sandwich shops in Chicago are open 24 hours. The bars usually don't close until 4 AM or 5 AM, so it is a stop that's used late into the night. That being said, going out at 2 AM in the cold is suspect as fck.

Well, not just as a black person but as a person in general. What person is going to walk around in Chicago AT 2AM when it's -16 degrees, just to go to Subway? Chicago is a rough city. You don't just walk around in the middle of the night.
And then some "white men in MAGA hats" are apparently just waiting around, at 2am, in -16 degree weather, with bleach and a noose at the ready, just in case a celebrity gay black man were to happen by. Sure, Juicy...

The story some say as to Why Juicy would concoct this was...the ratings were going real well on Empire and he wanted to renew his contract for more money. He thought this incident, if believed, would get him huge sympathy from everyone and this would help him get a bigger role and money for his contract renewal. I'm not saying this is what he intended. This is just the general consensus. Only Jussie knows.
There are definitely 24 hr Subways in Chicago. I live in the burbs and before Covid there were quite a few 24 hr Subways spread around the busier suburbs. Very few 24 hour places now.
Even the Seattle area has at least one 24h location downtown, at least pre-pandemic AFAIK. But yeah all the other details still didn't add up. Bleach and a ROPE? Who dafuq has rope in Chicago, is this 1850?
Jesse Smollett is related to either Micheal Obama or Kamala Harris. He was getting a huge salary but wanted more. Some claim his reason for doing this may be tied to the claim that his character was ending on the show. There may be a connection between his demands for higher pay & the character being written off the show.
To make it worse...or funnier...the 2 "White Guys" turned out to be 2 Nigerian's and 2 of his friends...Let that sink in for a minute...HIS FRIENDS!!!!

On top of it all, Chicago is the most surveilled city in America. They have the most security, CCTV, & traffic cameras in America, yet no video could be found anywhere to support his claims. At the day & time he claimed, there weren't any images of humans out anywhere in the area for miles around. This was the single biggest doubt to the police.
We had the same here in Germany recently where a small time artist publicly accused a receptionist of a hotel of being antisemitic. Turned out it was all bullshit.
I hate people like that. It is not as if there is no antisemitism, racism, sexism, homophobia etc. in this world. But when you lie about stuff it just makes the REAL issues harder to get believed.

Some Subway restaurant and other fast food places don't close until like 2 or 3 AM in my city. Usually if it's in or nearby college areas.

I'm all for jokes like these. I wish there were more jokes about disabled people like me, too. All I have is Handi-Man, the disabled superhero from In Living Color 30 years ago played by Damon Wayans. You should check that out. The Adventures of Handi-Man: The Justice Legion of America.. I love Dave! This was a hilarious set, and I am happy that he talked about that story in his act that night.
As for Jussie, I think the worst thing that is happening in all of this is the way he is treating the Osundairo brothers. He is throwing them under the bus.
I can't believe someone could continue to lie like this, AND try to pass the blame onto someone else. So sad.
The worst thing was not the Osundairo brothers; it was the fact that two white men could have been arrested and found guilty of a hate crime they had nothing to do with. At the time the brothers were complicit of the hate crime. Fuck them too. They changed their mind once they realised that the game was up. When this was happening the USA was slowly at a boiling point of race hate. As it turns out the hate had to be manufactured!
I think it's a Hollywood actor thing with Juicy. A lot of them are self obsessed and quite frankly, nuts. He was a nobody til this ridiculous story went international. The people STILL defending him just blow my mind with their stupidity 🙄
