I gotta admit: I haven't played a Leo in a while. But an Arena mode where Leo and Griffin and Patton are just having an Old-School Party... NOW THAT is awesome :-)
Those were good days for sure, but the game has to evolve to survive. If those weapons continue to be the most powerful to this day, the game would have surely die.
The only problem with this is that it is a free for all match. War robots was not designed for this back in the day. This is all about luck of where you are at the right time to kill steal. Super slow - super boring

I remember when I first came into champion league with all the Shocktrain Spectres and Dash bots... with a lvl 6 Griffin. Nothing wrong here, please go on.
The main problem is that its based on kills not damage and getting kills is luck since you get lucky if you for example find 2 players on low health as opposed to full while with damage its consistent you get the same damage regardless and thus is skill based

The enemy Griffin that destroyed itself pains me the most since you lose a kill and lose a bot. Must be the pain of losing 100 gold for entering an arena when your not in the top 3
Maybe this guy just realized he is giving hes gold to a battlerec account. Arena is a loss anyways. 6 peoples spend 600 gold, but do only win 550. So the arenamode is basicly taking gold from players. But now, its even worse, when first place goes to a battlerec account, that is completly sponsered by pixonic.

We should vote to have a permanant battle mode where you can only use robots and weapons before the dash bots, and it sets mk2 equipment back back to mk1. Bring back the glory days of the lancelot, fury, galahad, rogatka and the griffon king

I still remember saving up piecing together my death button griffin and dominating until dash, flying, modules came out and the game became much harder to get new equipment right away. Sadly i missed this arena thou as i had stopped playing regularly, could've gotten a video out of it and be proud of it some what :(

I played this game since it was released and of course there was nothing but the old school robot. The rajin and the fujin was the best. I continued playing for 3 years but then I left the game and returned back I found all these new robots and weapons with new abilities. Of course I was shocked because back in the day I was dominating the arena but now I am crushed
Manni I've also played this mode a lot and gotten at least top 3rd most of the time. However, playing on Steam for me is very very unfortunate because twice in a row, the game crashes on power plant. I lost 200 gold for no reason. The thing is, I also gained over 2000 gold from the arena so I can't really "complain". Crashing the game is probably what happened to that griffin player. I doubt he really means to leave.
I also thought the same. But noticed the arena mode when J was recording a few videos with the BR account. And then I didn't want to logg out and in and back and forth. But it would have been better to do it on my ACC to receive the golf 😅

I missed the old day in war robot The pinata orkan griffin used to dominate the battlefield and then the spectre came out it and it replace the #1 spot of the griffin I worked so hard to build the spectre and when i got it i was so happy I love the old war robot so much it was so much fun
That's the war robots I still find myself in these days as no one at my level can afford the newer robots, however I am close to a Fenrir so I can finally use a newer robot.
I remember back when the pinata took 10 seconds to reload and didnt have regeneration. (Btw I still use a Punisher Griffin because the dmg output is insane.)
War robots is all about crazy fights from long range to close range right now every thing is corner shooting and beacons and for sure kill stealing with range
Probably one of the best areans/skirmishes so far in wr in the last 2 years...perhaps the 1hit treb skirmish was the best ever though. We don't quite realise how fast the new bots travel until we play the big old Leo 😂😂😂 if used to be fun taking down leos and griffions with stalker+magnum back in the day when only orkan was the only rocket weapon which reloaded while firing lmao everything else unloaded even if you looked at the fire button wrong 😂

The dash bots could be handled with old school loadouts. For bulgasari just have orkan pinata for haichi taran magnum and for kumiho anything lol
