- Hey Guys! in today's video, we're jazzing up the Honda Helix with a nifty upgrade! Trust me, you won't want to miss this one. Adding an extended windshield is like giving your Helix a superhero cape-it not only looks cooler but also shields you from those pesky winds when you're cruising down the highway.

I switched and flipped the rearview mirrors on mine, to mimic the mirror location on the DN-01, under the elbows so they don't get in the way. Gives it a custom look, too.
dip rubber in boiling water for a few seconds makes it a lot more playable
great advice

That is a really nice looking replacement windshield! I bought a nice used 1996 Helix back in 2018 but it had a nasty looking fogged up original windshield so I replaced it with a sporty looking shorty "Honda Fusion" style one, but after a few rides I got so tired of the wind beating me to death I decided to purchase a new slightly tinted replacement "Slipstreamer" brand one for a good price and was back to riding comfortable again. I should have known better from the start because in the early 2000's I had a 1500 then 1800 Goldwing within a 5 year span and enjoyed riding them around prior to owning bikes that had NO wind protection for 30 years. I quit riding around 2005 and didn't ever want to drive around on 800-900 pound bikes again, 13 years later I saw the Helix for sale while I've always been fascinated with them, and the Helix is so comfortable, lightweight, easy & fun to drive, and goes as fast as I really want or ever need to go nearing 72 years old.
72 and still riding! That’s awesome!
