The swing is a great choice! With all my children, the most utilized piece of baby equipment was the swing. It even helped them fall asleep if they were cranky or didn't feel well. As well as a good rocking chair. Priceless!!! I can't wait to follow your parenting journey, you guys will be phenomenal....❤️❤️❤️

Yes my daughter would only fall asleep in her swing/seat her mamaroo was the best gift I got and the most used she is tiny still so she still uses it she will be 1 on August 5th both my sons also loved there swings ..

Im a mother of 3 and 12 grandkids, all have had one thing in the same and that is bes time they all sleeped well. So my best advise in to get into a routine as early as possibe..
But most of all enjoy you baby they grow so so quick.❤

Sylvia , a little advice to you dear ,try and avoid food that will increase the baby's weight .You still got a few weeks to go n baby can gain weight in this time. Food like rice,bananas,fried food ,icecream etc. Totally cut out on rice if possible have salads.its a little sacrifice just till your little one is born.Praying you have anormal delivery. We are waiting too.love judy

Just leaving some guidance. An older mum here. 2 boys and baby cappinchinos too. Babies are great learners by routine, so establish one in early days. They are so loved and we feel to nurse and cuddle to sleep, hold them so much. Make sure they get to realise early, sleep comes with their crib. As parent we teach them what's expected. Will make life easier and you will get your rest. Best not to use swing for sleep time, of cause if unsettled or for wake times, otherwise we teach them this is where sleep is always.

So exciting ❤ maybe it is hard to see the size of the babyclothes in the video but it seems a bit big. I just advise you to have a few of the smaller clothes. I talk from experience as I got my first grandchild 5 month ago, and my daughter in law had not bought the smaller sizes, but fortunately I had some in stock ❤😂

I had a swing for my last child 43 years ago in South Africa , she was a Orem baby and loved it. It would rock on a timer for 15 minutes and without fail she would be asleep before the timer ended. Xx

Yes, to a baby swing! I used one for my boys so much the first 6 months! Hope yours will like it too because it’s so handy to have them sleep there during the day.
I don’t think you’re over the top prepared but I did think of on your last video, there’s no need for milk storage bag since it takes a few days for your milk to come in. Hopefully you’ll be home from the hospital by then :)

I'm so very proud of you both. You are definately not over prepared. I admire your preparation for first time parents you've thought of all the right things and the essentials.
Good idea which I did too in buying additional seperate things for the baby bag and your bag instead of using what you have. Makes sense. Don't forget a baby hat for baby. Take antibacterial gel too
Baby swing is an excellent idea. Don't put baby on sofa.
Although you can hear children outside its going to be good for the baby not to he in complete silence. It will help a lot and get the baby used to different noises. You'll find he will he content and will sleep through anything. Being too quiet in the home is not necessarily better.
Maybe put the baby clothes in age order. 0-3, 3-6 etc in your wardrobe
The baby seat should be behind the passenger side. For safety reasons baby should not be behind the driver
You can place a baby mirror where the baby is so that you can see when you are driving if baby is ok

That's a good idea to buy the stroller later and I like so much how you are making sure every necessary item is available prior because it's not easy when the baby is here to go shopping again in the first few weeks of giving birth' May God bless you family
