What resulted was retaliation, often resulting in the source being murdered or physically harmed at the irreparable level. People do not want to live or be anywhere it is unsafe. Corrupt policing is what led to the lack of cooperation. Locking witnesses up on bogus charges, then spending their life behind bars because the police/detectives want to close the case. There are reasons for everything. Think deeper!
