Today we are unboxing & reviewing all 4 of the brand NEW Playmates 40th Anniversary TMNT Original Sketch Action Figures. These figures are influenced by the original sketch drawn up by Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird.
They look so goofy BUT so awesome too!

They did a great job of matching the sketch, with the belts, pads, accessories. That’s why the nunchucks clip to Mikey’s wrists, because they’re stuffed in his wrist band on the sketch.
One cool detail is that they gave Donatello a strap, when in the sketch you can tell if he has one or not, so I appreciate the extra effort to include one with the mentality of “well, one could be there but it’s just hidden by his arms.”
Nice! I figured after looking at the sketch but still nice detail and unique for Mikey. :)

As an adult collector I have to say well done Playmates, this is the first time u have made me buy something from you. I even prefer these to the Neca OG Sketch turtles that have also just come out for SDCC.
