Nearing 10k subs 🎉 and I’m excited to celebrate soon with my first livestream AND a merch drop 👀 (you may have seen some of the designs in my recent videos). Details tba. Thanks for all the support so far, looking forward to creating lots more content in the future💕
Really looking forward to the livestream, hopefully I will be able to participate, please let us know of the exact time & date in advance as much as possible ;)
I really like how you said “now that the king is a target, this diagonal also is a target” That’s a very good thought process to develop positional plans
Love this. Not enough chess UA-cam is focused on the middle game which is where all of us beginners need to improve. There are all these openings videos but until 1200 or more games are all decided by mess ups in the middle game anyways.
I observed that the rook's protection of the pawn being blocked by the bishop may not be a big deal due to the Greek gift idea, except, after further analysis black should not take the pawn anyway but first play bishop a3. That's not the point of the video, but I decided to mention it in case anyone was wondering about the same idea.
Keep up the great work, Kamryn. You're doing an excellent job, especially for those of us who love the game, love playing, but we're not very good. You are really helpful.
I'm holding back tears and emotions listening to the first minute of the video: I'm ready to win! Could you go over common squares in certain openings that are good to try to attack? I know the London wants to jump the knight in the middle for white. Also, I'm sure there are times to abandon the regular ideas because the position no longer calls for it. Could you do a video examing this concept in more depth?
Example 4 was kinda the best in the vid all the other Examples were 1 in 5 games at least but middle-game strategies r the complex so it really depends on ur game but i learned something from ur video so thx .
I found this video suggested and enjoyed it very much! your explanation of the concept is very straighforward and i appreciate the different kinds of examples. Time to keep discovering your channel, thank you for the video :)
That was so helpful! Your videos are great and especially inspiring as you started chess as an adult which gives me hope! Thanks again, I’m looking forward to your next video.
Hi, Kamryn..., An excellent video and very informative and I learned a lot from this Middlegame Strategy ! ! Kamryn..., you have a ( perfect way ) of explaining the movement of the chess pieces and finding your target positions or chess squares... Thank you for sharing the video... "Semper Fi" Mike in Montana P.S.: Kamryn..., is bright, intelligent, and attractive... :)
But the h7 square is defended twice and there is nothing else there, unless you bring more attackers. White moves the Bishop to d3 to attack a6, since h7+ would just lose the Bishop for a Pawn, while the Pawn on a6 would be free. Alternatively: Rfb1 or Rab1, yes, since the Pawn b6 is also not defended yet. But you end up in a similar position, right?
6:50 is it even possible for black to save the game here? The only thing I can see is pushing the F pawn, but that only delays the inevitable. It's also possible I'm blind and missing something.
Ex1 - Put Pressure on the Pinned Piece. Never can you ever forget this thanks to Gotham. No one needs to be assailed with the indignity of failing to "PP on the PP." You always PP on the PP!🤭🤣👍

These videos are really helpful. I love how they are so simple and not in your face and over the top
so simple explanation, no unnecessary jokes.

The presentation was very good clear and not too fast - well done👏👏
Really enjoy your teaching style.....thanks Kamryn!
Excellent video sister. Thank you 🎉
Your advice has helped me so much. Thank you.

Nice video. Thank you. 😊
At pos 9:02 wouldnt't it be a good idea for white to play a4 to get of this weakness a2?
Example 4 ignores the tactics around Bxh7+. White really doesn't need to spend time moving the bishop.

I prefer the chopped salad attack
Captions appear all at once at the beginning. Great video though
You're around 2000 right?
You have a nice voice, also you are smart and beautiful!
