@@schragemusik Oh yea I forgot, grownups like to pretend they're not using a computer by adding peripherals that don't add any new way of interacting with the onscreen controls. Gotcha :)
@@DashGlitch ‘pretend they’re not using a computer’? Why would anyone do that? As for your control method, try doing some fine simultaneous control of filter cut off and resonance with your mouse.
Judging by the picture of P1-M, there is a "Master/(Ch)" button for transforming that 1st fader on the right (or fader no. 8) into a Master fader, but I might be wrong. I guess we'll have to wait for reviews.
There is a unit that has one fader but it has a cheesy detachable meter bridge using a super old school ugly coil type .....Again they need to fire the design dept
I think all “pro” studio level mixers should be expected to have real smooth iOS compatibility. Too many people use iOS as a core part of their workflow to ignore it.
Is that really a thing? I personally don't know anyone who uses an iPhone or iPad for professional use (except as a secondary monitor or to read text from).
Not True! I am a pro composer for UPPM and my songs are made using an IPAD PRO and MANY other ipads! In fact ...In my studio I have 12 iPads that function as my controller @@XanderEwald
Ok now why only a single metter for each channel? is there the assumption that everyone would be working with mono only track? Who wants to look at the meter bridge for a stereo channel only to be redirected elsewhere to see the stereo metering. The Mackie Hui had the best metering in a small format controller! Also the fader caps are skinny like pills.....Someone in the design department has poor taste!
I have Qcon Prox. It took lots of headaches and 3 returns to get the damn thing working. They have zero customer service but I'm getting it anyway. Shit!
I’m getting get it, I’m sorry but I need to get this one for sure. 😎💯👍🏿👍🏿💪🏿💪🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥
I thought that would be much more expensive than that. Looks great.
Let's see what it really sells for around the holiday season...
Don’t worry it will be once the stores mark it up. 😒
Release date?
I can't decide between the new icon or the SSL.
I have the older version 8 track packed away atm, intend to use it at a later date, but it's a really nice unit that integrates with my DAW/
Looks great, if you have many18 XLR-type as I do how would you connect that up unless you use a stage box of some kind with USB.
Not really, if I understand what you mean. This is purely a midi controller, not a mixer.
I've come up with a revolutionary way to control DAWs that nobody has ever thought of, it's a keyboard and mouse.
Very clever. But of little use to grownups.

@@schragemusik I was being sarcastic ;) MIDI is nice yes
The more money I spend on controllers the more I realize you are so right!
Will the P1 nano work with P1-X expansion modules?
I like having a dedicated master fader, which the main P1-M doesn't have.

p1-m sorry !
Nice to see the LED’s or other in colour. Maybe in future
Icon is one of the gread underrated brands
Not for Black Magic Resolve?
Prezzo si puo sapere ?sono interessato
Let's hope they've fixed the horrible jittery flying faders...
I doubt. I had all the bad experiences with Icon. Be aware.. A beautiful equipment dressed in a buggy amateur gear
NO longer buying push 3. This and my push 2 can do everything I need and much more.
Why would you only have a max of 3 fader expanders? Your going to end up with an ODD looking desk.. No even number of faders on both ends!

I use an iPhone to take pictures of the knob settings on my analog mixer. Does that count?
